Honestly I used to stop it after the "last" song and put on a new cd. Then one day I was cleaning with the cd on and it played the last track but I was busy so I left it for a bit and boy was my mind fucking blown! An entire track I had never even heard on my cd the whole time.
In 2006 I was a punk kid and hated these guys on the basis that emo sucks. I saw them at the warp tour and was blown away. That day I became huge fan and musically honest about what I like. Thanks MCR
The perfect mix of fun, sadness, and hope. It says something when a song like Teenagers is the weakest song since it breaks the flow at the end. Total masterpiece.
I remember when they were under fire cause everyone thought Famous Last Words was promoting suicide. When the chorus is “I am not afraid to keep on living”
@@that_one_gay_slytherin6925 Yea It was a whole thing. A teen girl committed suicide and she was a huge MCR fan. They somehow linked her death to her obsession with emo music and people were up in arms with MCR and thought this song and their whole genre was romanticizing suicide for a while
@@tomsensale2104 that's kinda understandable, but it was Gerard's thought process until he decided to keep on going and not giving up on life.... like that was the whole point of the album... it was a wide range of his emotions before being determined to live, at least that was the meaning I got from the album, and I think I was really young when I listened to it. God yes it has. Idk how old you guys are but I'm 30 and this painted my teenage years. I went from abused kid to a dad, then a stepdad and fuck this was so beautiful to look back on. Absolutely a masterpiece
All these years I listened the worldwide release without the 3 extra tracks. I have realized how much I've missed of one of my all time favorite bands, it's like rediscovering the band again and feels great
I heard Welcome to the Black Parade years ago, but never into this kind of music. 15 years later I heard the whole album. What a masterpiece! There is not a single song that I don't like
Am extremely out of shape. Started exercising a week ago using a rowing machine. First day I did 10 minutes, decided to increase everyday by 2 and a half minutes. The goal is to do a 45 minute session everyday. So far I'm up to 25 minutes. I do it while listening to this. So I'm counting down the songs during workout.
So I've been rolling the idea of a Broadway based on this album since I first heard it. I'd love the opportunity to work with a choreographer and team as I've almost got my vision of most of the songs, as well as how the story connects the pieces together
Yes! It's been the same in my head. I always saw this album as an answer to Queen's a night at the opera, just a majestic rock opera. It deserves the treatment with a fantastic cast and perfect choreography. Like a dirty angry musical.
Amazing! I also do this with my favorite music. I kinda picture like my own Mamma Mia but instead of ABBA songs, it's a Taylor Swift musical in a coming of age romantic teen movie lol. I hope there's no pop shaming in this comment section, just saying Taylor has very musical-ish songs. I would love to see your MCR musical, I've always wanted to watch a movie based on their music since the I'm not okay MV is a fake trailer of that kind of film that we'll never see (╥_╥)
edge is not how i would say it more like it gets its point across of being a look at a young man in ww1 who died and become another lost soul who guides others to death least that's what I think about mama
Listened to one of their albums earlier think it was the follow up to this? And it was okay but the sound quality of the CD was very bad. Maybe I should get this album instead the songs sound better so far.
I used to think they were weird for being emo but honestly now I only care about the quality of the music and hey I dont really care if they are emo or not

I'm still a punk rocker and I still think that emos are an absurd fashion but this album isn't that bad xD
