No. Do they credit the staff who works for their design, animation, songs, management, etc? Yes. The only difference is Luxiem stream while MAVE don't. This kind of thinking works for me. Hopefully, it can also give you a new perspective! 🥰

yeah and their privacy might be respected since no one knows what they actually look like. But I'm worried about how artists behind the scenes would be compensated. Also it might get harder for a traditional artist to compete with an AI generated artist. AI artists don't have to worry about reputation, mental health, rest, salary, living amentias, performance variability, etc, so a company can output music at a much faster rate with them and generate more profits at concerts

That's seems like a good way for companies to have anonymous products then can replace.
People with talent never had to worry about their physical appearance in the past. Pavarotti never had to be cute or sexy... It matters a lot in K-Pop because their image is a big part of why people enjoy them.

Because I have no difficulty imagining some of that multitude of people who never had the opportunity to debut, signing up because that's the only proposition they ever received.

I mean technically they're not "non-existent". There's still real artists behind the voices even if the actual band is only a concept. See: Gorillaz, which has been around for decades now. No one would argue it's "not a real band" or that "the artists are nonexistent" just because the characters themselves are animated story concepts.

Like for example the transitions, the superhuman movements, the BGs that synergize well with the performers (there are editing in other groups that looks cringe for the sole reason that they can't synergize their edits with their human performers), and so much more! The fact this is just them pioneering the way for virtual idols after so much of their predecessors failed is already good enough reason for them to try this concept
