IU's version of Sanulrim's song from 1984, "[Neoui Uimi]: The Meaning of You" has Kim Chang Wan's touches, from building up the overall feeling of the vocal to featuring.

노래가 좋아서 자꾸 찾아와 듣게 되네요. 김창완씨도 아이유씨도 노래 부를 때의 표정이 너무 달콤해요. 두 분이 함께 부를 때의 화음도 무척 아름답고요. 김창완씨의 목소리가 좋은 줄은 알았지만 이렇게 봄바람 같은 미성인 줄은 몰랐어요. 따듯한 봄볕과 살랑이는 봄바람에 가슴이 두근거리듯이 그렇게 설레이네요.

엄마가 돌아가시기 전에 많이 들었던 곡인데 한 7살쯤이었나봐요 그때는 애여서 그냥 마냥 모든 게 즐거웠는데 지금 들으면 엄마 생각 밖에 안나고 모든게 뭉클해지네요 가끔은 울기도 하구요 ㅋㅋ 아마 이 노래 때문에 엄마를 가장 잘 떠올릴 수 있는 것 같네요 아빠 말로는 엄마가 그렇게 이뻤다던데 엄마 옛날 사진을 보면 그렇게 아름다운 절세가인이 없더군요 항상 엄마는 절 행복하게 해주셨는데 저는 엄마를 행복하게 해드리기도 전에 먼저 가셨으니 너무 슬프네요
IU is unlike other artists out there who mostly just sing pop songs or rap songs. There are also country songs but IU is one of the few artists I know that would sing with an elder person and an old-fashioned song. This is why IU inspires me and I ALWAYS listen to her

Got to praise Kim Han Young who wrote this song and the music by Kim Chang Wan. All of the words touches everyone and the remake version is really on par with the original one. Of course, with the sweetness of IU's vocal, everything is perfect!

난 김창완씨를 하얀거탑으로 처음 알았고 이후 작품들에서도 정말 연기력 뛰어난 배우로 알고 있었는데 그가 가수였단다. 그냥 기타리스트나 서브보컬인줄 알았었는데 대가수였 메인보컬이었다 신은 공평하지않다 ㅎㅎ
난 그의 배우로서의 간사하고 뒤에 숨긴 미소도 멋지고 신인가수때 딱딱한 표정도 멋지고 나이들고 옛노래 부르는 그의 주름과 미소가 아름답게 느켜진다 감사합니다.
