I'm so sorry for dohyon he was just a 15 year old boy with big vibrant dreams and they've honestly been crushed he may have debuted again but it will never be the same for him. Also for hangyul who went through two survival shows and finally debuted and got recognition to again be crushed in the end. Plus x1 had a really close bond they mustve had such big dreams together and were at the start of walking on the flower path one of them mentioned in pd x 101 but it ended so quickly. I believe this song is them trying to speak through lyrics and emotion because they couldn't speak up against the adults who exploited them for views and money.

Honestly I am not X-1 fans and i don't know both of them apart from the ex-X1 members. But they are quite popular and often appear in Korean articles. First time I opened this song, I already liked the music melodies and their voices. And when I read the lyrics, I think I will soon become their fan.

This song lyrics speaks some sadness to my heart. The way they are longing for something/someone and to either let go of the memories cause it gets unfamiliar when they pass by the same thing the same day and keep reminiscing good old days.

This song is heartbreaking even for less invested X1 fans like myself. These two, and the others, all deserved so much better than what they were given. I only pray the experience will make them stronger. They shouldn't feel like they have to prove anything in terms of talent. They are all brimming with talent and shouldn't have been penalized for something adults did. To clarify, I avoid watching survival shows because I want everyone to win. I watched Pentagon Maker after their official debut and cried over eliminations that I knew weren't even permanent.

Lee Hangyul is a very hardworking dancer, singer and performer. He was orphaned very young and finally adopted at age 7. Imagine growing up until you’re 7 without parents. Then he worked extra hard to become an idol because he wanted to repay his adoptive family. Succeed for them. He trained for many years but still hasn’t debuted. He debuted in a group called IM but they weren’t successful so disbanded. He went on the survival show The Unit but didn’t make it in the final lineup although he worked extra hard with his top dancing skills and even built abs in hopes to gain more votes. But he didn’t give up. He then went on a second survival show Produce X 101. If you don’t know, one survival show is already extremely hard to get over and especially after not winning so going on 2 is honestly beyond human capabilities. Plus debuting 2 times to disband 2 times. You have to want it HARD. and he did. now he’s finally successful, finishing in the final lineup. you’d think this is it. he can be happy now but no. Turns out the show was rigged so the group was forced to disband and he’s forced to chase fame all over again. and here he is now, as a duo with Dohyon.
Nam Dohyon is a VERY very young boy. Currently only 15 but already is a genius prodige. At this age he already has studied abroad, learning english along the way. Written many songs and even producing the ones he’s releasing with Hangyul. He was asked to write theme songs for entertainment tv shows and was compared to today’s most talented rappers. Judges on Produce recognized him as an impressive 14 year old and respected him. He finished in the final lineup with Hangyul but had to disband. Now they’re both here. Working so hard and struggling to achieve their dreams they deserve.
