[MV] GFRIEND(여자친구) _ FINGERTIP

I want to clarify to you all that Ms. Figertip didn't flop. It charted #1 on Bugs, Olleh, Soribada, Genie, Naver and Monkey3 and #4 on Melon and Mnet, it was even Gfriend's best selling album at that time, Fingertip only won 2 times because they were competing against a well established group (Highlight/Beast) and the song even gave Gfriend the 'Best Female Group' at The Golden Disc Award. So yeah, Ms. Figertip didn't deserve the disrespect you all gave her.

I am upset. The members wanted so bad to try a girl crush concept and people (including buddies) are criticizing them. "They changed, I miss the old GF" what did you excpect seriously ? To stay little school girls with uniforms all life ? "This concept doesn't feet them" How ? Everytime a girlband change their concept, people claims that they were better before. I think it is just because you are used to watch them wearing uniforms. Also, they didn't change in a bad way, don't try to put their work down. They are more mature and this is a normal changement. The style of music still gives the GFRIEND vibes. This is an evolution, they are GFRIEND.

Gfriend is the most talented and hardworking group that I've seen. 2x speed dance, blindfold dance, singing live and many more.

Don't worry. You're not only one listening to this masterpiece in 2021.

GFriend has shown, yet again, how versatile and professional they are. Whether you like or not the song, you have to admit they took a chance by changing their concept. They look more mature, this is something they couldn't have pulled off really well back in rough or even navillera, it would have been too forced
but now they're smoothly transitioning into real artists. I'm so thrilled that yuju didn't get a "crazy" high note so that people can see that GFriend is more than Yuju's voices or SinB's dancing, all of them bring something together to the mix. Even though Sowon and Umji might have gotten the least lines, their parts were significant, and different from previous comebacks, they're all stepping into the spotlight and I can finally see the 6 members GFriend members shining all together

Nobody mentions Yuju, at least I think she looks absolutely flawless here, and her vocals are as powerful as always! 😘

Ok, i got it now. Eunha is "Apollo". SinB is "Artemis" and Yerin is "Orion". The rest are the "Scorpion" sent with the porpouse of kill SinB. It's all about the "Orion mythology", the constellation that we can see at the end. SinB and Eunha are twins (they were in the same body), SinB fall in love with Yerin, and Eunha tried to stop it by Yuju, Sowon and Umji (thats why she shared her power to them, by the butterflys, and the power is represented by the cristal orbs, for exaple when SinB was shot by Umji she lost some and Umji was trying to pick them up), but SinB survived to all atacks.
The reason why Eunha was trying to avoid the romance is because, just like in the mythology, she tought that a God (SinB) shouln't fall in love with a mortal (Yerin).
Artemis (Sinb) and Orion (Yerin) were good hounters, this explain the animals scene in the room. Sinb accidentally kills Yerin (just like in the mythology, when Artemis shoot accidentally an arrow trought the ocean and hit Orion, who is represented by Yuju sinking in the water). We can see so many references in this video, like Artemis being the queen of the moon (Sowon at the begining), the shootings representing arrows, the animals and all the story in general. We can also find many references from their last songs, glass bead with the cristal pieces, me gustas tu with the rose that is holding Sinb, (and also maybe is represented by the heart when SinB shoots Umji?), rough with the clock, and navillera with the butterflys.
All of this happens in Eunhas dream, the oniric world. Thats why the time goes faster, and there are so many references to their astral bodys. When Eunha wake up this story comes to an end, and when she sleep again the clock goes faster (walking into another dream) and it begin a new story, all together, where they can be happy as good friends.
In conclusion, this video is super original. I love the difficult theory behind, and also the beauty of the story. We can say now that SinB and Yerin are oficially a couple 😂 At the end they become friends like the real life! it's not possible to think a better final to this mv. it's like: "All we need, we just have it." 💞 By the way, if I think anything else I will include it in this post (this is my theory, might be wrong! you can share your opinion below 😊)

I'm touring their official MV after Yerin's announced she is now with a new company with mixed feeling. I have been through my late 20's and early 30's with these girls. Ever since I saw their pre debut teaser in allkpop. I follow them ever since fell in love since the teaser. And loving them more and more each day. Now, it feels like the world telling me to grow up and leaving this kpop thingy. I usually loves to listen to other girl groups releases as I always refer my self as girl group lover, but after that painful announcement, I can't even found a liking to the current girl group releases. It just feels so empty.
