I hate the thing when people count best vocalist in k-pop they don't consider Solji just bcuz she is from small company..
yeah for sure, Solji and Siyeon (Dreamcatcher) are 2 that come to mind who are never mentioned for that reason - and yet they are very clearly some of the absolute best vocalists in the industry - and have been around for a WHILE as well.

i don't think it's because she's from a small company, EXID is a well known group. i think it's rather because their group concept doesn't highlight what she can do with her voice best, and maybe people see her through that "sexy concept" so her voice goes by as underrated
@@bpbrah but it company plays a huge role in providing opportunities to the artists. Banana culture is indeed a bad company nothing to do with being small..all these years they wasted EXID's talent. Yes EXID were popular but when you compare them with other famous groups of their time exid doesn't have much achievements.

She's the only singer who can hit you with her voice like that. Even if you never listened to Korean songs before, this is literally worth it. Her vocal range is insane, and even after all these years, even after becoming the full grown up woman she is, she's still singing. Truly a leader. Truly a mother for Leggos. Truly the best singer.
The first time I saw her on KoMS as Dongmakgol Girl, I'm truly fall to her.
