@@pyrofoxchia Stayc is under Highup entertainment, which is not like the big companies out there (YG, SM, JYP, FNC or even Cube). Highup ent, is only 3yrs old agency, it was established in 2017 which can be considered relatively new.
Let me emphasize that Kakao M as distributor, CJ ENM as parent and highup ent has different roles. Kakao M is their distributor company that's why you can see them in 1theK just like every other rookie group from small/new company. While CJ ENM is the parent company because they have bigger stocks in Highup ent. Frankly, parent companies serves only for financial and profit purposes. So technically, Highup entertainment overall manages Stayc and produces their music/songs/activities. Thus, Stayc is under Highup Entertainment not in Kakao M or CJ ENM because these two companies are only for distribution platform and financial purposes.

You are right. I follow a ton of kpop groups and idols but this one is seriously the best "Debut" I have seen in my opinion.
Aespa's Black Mamba for example was also a very solid one, especially for any recent groups, but STAYC is a step above in most aspects.

@@justajakefanboy5409 I like Stereotype, wasn't much for ASAP, but I agree, to strong of a debut has it downsides. I am reminded of Nuest and BAP from back in the day.
2024: I still think this is one of the best debut tracks in KPop. It may not have all the views, but it made just enough of an impact to put StayC on the map (and paved the way for ASAP to dominate as much as it did).
As a song too, it is VERY different from a lot of KPop tracks (much less debut tracks) that it served to make a very strong identity for StayC.

i'll even go one step further and say very boldly:
purely in terms of music production and music video production, this song is much better than many songs by the "big" girl groups that are signed under jyp, yg, hybe and sm. but since a few years now i've been getting more and more the feeling that smaller and small companies are more likely to deliver quality...and the "huge and powerful" companies are more responsible for the confusing and interchangeable mass-produced goods.

@@walkingheaven4433 what u mean not her normal voice?, its her voice even tho when she's talking not as deep as this but she naturally have low tone, Also singing and speech voice may have different voice cause you not using the same breath technique. Singing usually use diapraghmatic breathing rather than lungs so your voice more wider and not easily out of breath. Sounds different when singing & talking doesn't means its not ur normal/ real voice lol I do sound different too when I'm singing but not cause I'm straining my voice/ its not my real voice but I'm more comfortable singing in more lower/ deeper range rather than high and cause I use dipragmatic breathing so my voice sounds more clearer. Same goes to J as I see her cover other songs that she's more comfortable using lower range. Everyone have different capasity to singing in low/high range. Hope you understand this😊
