As a member of the group ‘TROY’ along with ‘BUMKEY’, the Rapper ‘Kanto’ has worked with ‘Lee Sun Hee’, ‘Kim Yeon Woo’, ‘Lee Young Hyun’,’SEO IN YOUNG’,’15&’, ‘Raina’ and has been building a successful career. Three years after the debut, he is finally starting his solo activity releasing his first EP [14216].
[14216] is Kanto’s first EP title, and he used the long and competitive 2 years that he put into working on this album, from 2014 to 2016 and used it as the title of his First EP.

‘カント’の初のEPのアルバム名『14216』は、過去2014年から現在の2016年まで、自分が今回のEPを準備しながら作業に邁進した長くて厳しかった2年間という時間をアルバム名に表現したものである。

'칸토'의 첫 EP 타이들로 명명된 [14216]는 지난 2014년부터 지금의 2016년까지 자신이 이번 EP를 준비하며 작업에 매진한 길고 치열했던 2년이라는 시간을 앨범 제목으로 표현한 것이다.

Nope, TROY is like a "group project of Bumkey", and when he had his solo debut (which was several months before the debut of TROY), he had already been a member of the group.
Probably because Bumkey was caught selling and taking drugs towards the end 2014, his music career was on hold which led to TROY's hiatus. Hence Brandnew Music is now promoting Kanto as a soloist.
