The part when you said giving 100% isn’t always going to “equal” 100% it’s going to sway based on what you’re going through really helped me! And that part was so great. This episode was so heart wrenching at the end.. ugh my heart breaks for that man. He sounds so wonderful, I pray for him that he lives a happy rest of his days without his special lady until they meet again. Wow.

My favourite quote is “do onto others as you want done onto you” I was raised by parents that thought me to be an independent strong woman and as a single mom of twin boys I’ve been teaching them about being a gentlemen and take care of their woman in every way! Every morning they wake up and crawl into my bed and say “ good morning mom” “I love you” and “you’re the best mom ever you know that” and that’s when I realized that no matter how many bad days or frustrating days that I have it is all worth it ❤

i want to start by saying i love you guys and your podcast/tiktoks it all! i just wanted to mention that sometimes those who breastfeed farther than a year can have their hormones not regulate until around 6 or more months after the women stops breastfeeding. For me, my PPD didn't kick in until a month after i stopped breastfeeding, had my hormones checked multiple times and they were still erratic as they were within the first year after having my son. Your point on most PPD does turn into just depression after a year does happen a lot, but it also depends on how long the woman chooses to breastfeed as well because of the way that breastfeeding changes your hormones. other than that small bit, i loved this episode and as always think you guys have great feedback for common problems in relationships/marriages. Your traditional marriage and how you look at what is needed to make a long term relationship is amazing. keep being amazing and helping those who need it. you make a difference for a bunch of people, me included.

I love your content. I’m struggling SO hard in my life currently. I feel like I have no voice of reason or an emotionally mature enough person to hear me out and give constructive advice. I literally listen to you for 6 hours straight while I’m at work. I just want to grow and be my best self I can be and it’s hard in a world where everyone seems so content with just surviving. We both have NICU warriors! My son was born at 28 weeks and 2 days. We spent 72 days in the NICU before we got to go home. My son just turned 2 Nov 2nd and he was diagnosed with Autism back in June. My son is starting to explore sounds more but as of now he doesn’t speak either and we are working on sign language but it is SO hard. Every episode of you guys I watch I find more reasons to just keep on watching. I love your content and it really shapes my attitude for the day. Just after the first 4 episodes and now I’m actively thinking about what I say and how I say it. I nag and I try not to as well as my children’s father was gone obnoxiously long the other night when we had plans and I went to go off and thought about what you guys say and I reeled myself back in and realized I was only having anxiety because I care that he is safe because shit happens and I couldn’t get a text back. Instead of going off I just texted and was like hey love, hope you’re okay! Text me when you can… and I got a way better response than I would have.

So I hope you guys get a laugh out of this. I have been going through it the last 5 days or so and I only just started listening to your podcast, although I had been watching your tiktoks for a bit. Because I have been so distracted it has taken me a full three days to realize that Chris was calling Khrys his "peace" and not his "piece" and now I can't stop laughing at my foolishness. I just started watching your tictok and love the content, and it helps my day today. Helps me be a better man to my wife and our marriage. I know that I can not change the way she looks at things, but I can change the way I approach things. Thank you.

Though I appreciate the phrase “treat others the way you want to be treated” because it implies a reciprocal relationship of respect, I have also experienced that I tend to treat myself the worst in many scenarios (such as negative self talk, not cleaning up after myself, not feeding myself) and I also can’t assure that my behaviors will be returned to me by others. So I like the phrase “treat others the way THEY want to be treated” because that means I will always be serving the other person in the most loving way and removes the expectations of a return. In that way, I’m always operating within my values, with integrity, and even when I feel low about what I deserve, my behavior towards others should not change. In fact, I find that I can be more motivated to do my household duties if I frame it that my fiancé does not want or deserve to live in a messy house, even though I might feel like just laying in bed and letting things pile up. Just something I’ve heard and reflected on in my self improvement journey and thought I’d share. Also I wanted to say that I really appreciate this podcast! I found you on TikTok and I’m starting from the beginning of all your episodes and discussing what you do with my fiancé. Though we don’t agree with your perspectives on everything, the discussions you help start is so beneficial in our lives as we lay the foundation of a marriage! We have already changed some of our habits for the better because of how you model love and service to each other.

I'm with Peaches. My husband is in his 50, I'm in my 30s, and if he goes next week, I'm done for good. I could never love anyone the way I love him. I will be his wife till the day I die regardless of whether he's still alive.

In response to episode #4, in the State of Tennessee, the Grandparents have no rights, to the grand children.

Man this made me cry b/c our lives are so crazy my hubby doesnt get to video game much if at all and it makes me feel bad. He has taken up some games on his phone, but I know its not the same for him. He actually just gave up his xbox subscriptions. Our son is 10 wheelchair bound with Spina Bifida and a slew of other Dx. We lead our lives very similar to ya'lls as close as we can what works for us.

I love the insights, the intellectual back and forth, and the support you provide others by being REAL with what yall say. You're both the shit and cute as fuck together. The part where you thought your kid was going to be nonverbal and autistic for the rest of his life at the age of two, I felt that. Mine mostly spoke gibberish and some words like letters and numbers and some other small single worded things, right up until he went to Pre-K at the ripe age of four. Coming up this summer he'll be five with a full year of Pre-K and he's speaking full sentences and singing things now. The improvement is crazy, the professionals have even said covid social distancing has had such an impact that he wasn't the only one they were seeing like that. It's now my firm belief that children need a lot of social interaction with other children their age, before school. Unfortunately for me, even if covid hadn't happened, he still would have had a lack of socialization with other kids his age. I tried relentlessly to no avail to make that happen even at all before school but I was consistently brushed off by everyone I reached out to. I know people don't owe me a thing but when it impacts your child it's a whole other level of bitter I suppose. Especially when you try to get together with those people and their children of a similar age, and they give you the run around and you see them post on social media how they're hanging out with other moms and their kids and they're getting that socialization you practically begged for. Not even for you, but for your kid. It just sucks, and people suck. People really don't care, even if they know your child is struggling and socialization with their children could help.

Hi guys just watching podcast 5 the first email finished paused it too write this , I'm worried about this lady , it seems like stealth d.v to me , any one of those things by themselves not so much . He is keeping finances tight so she can't do nothing, (financial abuse) not major but still , borderline physical abuse being him coming home throwing tantrums ( maybe because she not wanting to be intimate, or she upset he always out) .not supporting her emotionally in anyway in fact quite the opposite she has to do all by herself for child and house and when he says if you don't like it leave he knows full well that she can't afford to due to holding the Financials as tight as he is she will have no money to leave. Has me worried for her

on the last one. If its the same country that i live in then the legal terms around that is living together not so much the relationship. I know someone who went through something similar but it was the man in the relationship that was the scumbag. Esentially the law recognises a relationship that is more than six months of living together as a kind of marriage. The fact that she went through sudden hardship and then immediately asked to just move in with you was the red flag. Personally im of the opinion that you should not live together unless that is the next step in your relationship. Ive seen those relationships get ugly fast. I do not care what her situation is, you can help her get a new place etc but if they are pressuring you to let them live with you i would be calling them out on that and possibly ending the relationship if they can not respect that boundary.
