I enjoy skinny jeans and side parts and plenty of other things. I never once thought all of these things were a "generational" thing wheeze. So it's more like everyone between 1997-2005 or so is living in the void since most of us have traits of both :') we should have gotten our own generation. Hate getting lumped in with tik tokers and children literally years younger than me. (Like I'm 20 now yet I'm basically lumped in with my 8 year old niece. It doesn't make sense)

Right? It wasn’t exactly for my personality, but in 4th grade, a few students were getting their IQ tested, including me, and I already knew that even though they didn’t really say it aloud over it being for our IQ, but I literally overthought everything. “Are they testing me because of my intelligence on that one test?! Is it because my answers were so intricate for a kid my age?!”
Idk what kind of imagination was flowing through me when i was a 4th grader, but it was willlld. Anyhow, it could just be becuz i was stupid and they wanted to see how it was possible someone my age could be THAT stupid. Idk, a smart kid I had a crush on was there so that’s probably why I assumed it was a “smart people thing”
Oh yeah, and after weeks of that testing, near the end of the year, the tester should something to my teacher all hush hush.

i was born in 97 so i just see anyone younger than me as gen z and anyone older than me as a millennial and i simply exist in the void
That’s definitely the odd year where you’re technically gen z but like so different from people born in the late 2000’s.
Like it’s weird to compare my friend born in 97 and my brother born in 09. There’s such a huge difference in the technology and culture they grew up in
I was born in 2000 it’s definitely a weird age because I grew up with 90’s things but also grew up with the evolution of technology and social media so I too often feel like I exist in the void!
I was born in 01, yet my first phone was a flip phone, I didn't even have friends to be remembering numbers for, I dislike social media, and miss big time rush like many other losers. I enjoy skinny jeans and side parts and plenty of other things. I never once thought all of these things were a "generational" thing wheeze. So it's more like everyone between 1997-2005 or so is living in the void since most of us have traits of both :') we should have gotten our own generation. Hate getting lumped in with tik tokers and children literally years younger than me. (Like I'm 20 now yet I'm basically lumped in with my 8 year old niece. It doesn't make sense)

I know how you feel I like skinny jeans but also like flares and I had a side part for years I begged my mum to allow me to have a side part at 11 years old because it was cool at that time and I had a side part until recently when I switched to having a fringe!
