I was a boxer in a very different nation for about three years in between 17 to 20 (age). I was an amateur at state level in 2007 when I punched someone outside the ring in self defence. Something which ruined a lot of things for me soon after. His spleen was bruised and he got a cracked rib from one punch. Considering the mountain of difference between me and Ryan Garcia in strength and quality, those gut punches would be lethal for a lot of people! Props for taking them.
Probably for the average guy not used to getting punched depending on size and fight background.
