Wish I never played a naughty dog game in some way, it’s a blessing and a curse, after playing the likes of uncharted and the last of us franchise no other games are remotely close in terms of detail gameplay and story telling, all other games are pretty pathetic to be honest maybe the exception of rdr2 and grand theft auto but still not even close.

Background scenes look better in Mk1, and character design is better in Mk11 (Its slightly unfair to Mk1 though since its going for the classic look/outfits, which did have less detail). Overall I do think Mk1 has better fighting gameplay.

I didn't notice a lot of these changes till this video mentioned them. Only positive that really stood out to me was the much improved facial expressions (when Joel's daughter died I really felt his grief this time). Since I was expecting the graphics to have a big improvement in Part I, what I noticed more than anything were the mistakes. Water not showing character reflections and in one case had dots on the surface arranged in a grid pattern. Certain small reused objects ( bottles and boxes) appearing extremely bright in dark environments...if there were issues like this in the original I wouldn't have cared or noticed much. But since they want to sell you on the improved visuals, well..now I'm going to scrutinize it.

i was considering getting MK1 because it's newer, then I found out MK11 is on sale for 5$ while MK1 is, even while on sale, still a whopping 35$.

Nothing beats the nostalgia from going top down view of GTA to GTA 3, 3D. It was an amazing time in history at it's time that cannot be explained or replicated.

I bought this back on release day in 2019 for the Xbox One. It ran quite poorly at times. After I upgraded to the Series X, that vanished. Strangely enough, once I bought my Steam Deck and purchased the ultimate edition, I ended up finishing the game there instead of on console. I wasn’t initially too fond of the game but after sinking in close to thirty hours, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that it’s a great game! It has an arcade cinema vibe to it.

The sound in remastered isn't plain. it has echoes in the tunnel, doppler effect, engines sound echoing, loudness increasing and decreasing at places

Dmc4 looks way better than dmc5, dmc5 is bad, nothing special about it, even the art is measurable, these characters are not what we used to know

I think the H2 cliffy was well-timed and necessary. It took place at a climactic point of the story, so much had already happened, and the pressure was turning up again. Or, yea, alternatively we could just have a 100-hour long HALO campaign that finishes the fight or maybe even goes on forever. Sheesh. Get a life.

For everyone's information, there is a mod about the American Civil War for bf1942, it is called "Battlefield 1861", it is in modb, it is not as polished, but believe me it is more fun than it seems; In case you want more maps and/or see some gameplay of the game, I recommend that you search on KRplus for "Battlefield 1861 siege of Yorktown" I don't know where to download it, but I'll leave it there...

What an epic documentary, you sir absolutely killed it. Since playing GTA 2 as a kid in the 90s I was immediately hooked, and when GTA 3 came out and I saw it in 3D for the first time, I became obsessed with this franchise. I remember every new release since then. Every time a new GTA came out it was like a 2nd birthday for me. So this video really took me back to my childhood. Seeing all the game footage, and hearing all the theme songs, it's a massive nostalgia trip for me. Even GTA 5, which came out when I was already an adult (well, I was 20), hearing its soundtrack makes me so nostalgic for those times. I might have to reinstall them all from GTA3 onwards. I think I may even have all the original CDs/DVDs from 2000s. See if they hold up today haha.

Weapons sound better in Rise, but Shadow has better explosion sounds. BUT! Dude, you completely missed to most important comparison: animation quality, e.g. idle animations. In RoTR Lara behaves almost lifelike, while in SoTR much to my astonishment, she’s very much static, like a puppet doll... that was such a downgrade compared to RoTR.
