Gen 2 heater always worked on an old Virgin superhub 1 and 3. Put the Virgin router in modem mode and recently upgraded to a pack of 3 Eero Pro's mesh internet, everything else works brilliantly but the gen 2 heater refused to connect. Even when disabling the 5ghz on the eero's it still won't connect. A simple part solution is to buy smart plugs, then you can turn the heater on and off with your phone or by voice using Alexa, you can also set auto timers, just can't control the temperate of thermostat with smart plugs.

The tech that never works...

This never works. Mill is probably the dumbest piece of technology ever! Shame on you!

Mill ovnene er flotte å se på. Greie å bruke manuelt. Men WIFI systemet er håpløst dårlig å forstå. Appen har det værste brukergrensesnittet jeg noen gang har opplevd. Har du god sans for data vil du nok klare deg. Men for vanlige folk bør man vurdere noe annet. Det ser enkelt ut, men å forstå og endre på temperaturmålinger dag, kveld, når du er borte, på ferie er et mareritt. The Mill ovens are great to look at. Easy to use manually. But the WIFI system is hopelessly difficult to understand. The app has the worst user interface I have ever experienced. If you have a good sense of data education, you will probably manage. But for ordinary people, something else should be considered. It looks simple, but understanding and changing temperature measurements day, night, when you are away, on holiday is a nightmare.I have other things to do in life, so after several hours I gave up. You can override it manually, but I could buy a nice oven for 70 percent cheaper without the app, which is impossible to understand.

Had Gen 2 for ages but can’t get it to connect so heater sitting useless. Waste of money.

Not very impressed with the Mill app, or this instruction video. I would recommend saving your money and buy a different brand.
