i had to get massive sharp spikes at the front of my mouth and an expander at the same time, if i tried to stick my tongue out id get stabbed and my tongue would bleed a ton, and also if i moved my tongue up towards the expander id get stabbed, so i could hardly talk or eat. the spikes were to fix my lisp and tooth gap, it fixed the gap but my lisp somehow got worse 💀 also the spikes fall apart in 2 seconds, i bit a piece of chocolate and a spike broke, by the time i got them out (after six months) i was bloody, tired, really bloody, and my teeth were buried in glue that held the spikes in (my breath smelled bad because i could hardly brush my teeth, L dentists who smelled that), and only 2 spikes remained. but i was free from blood and pain. just kidding, a piece of the expander chipped off, so when my tongue moved up it would get cut even worse than before, and at that point the expander was stretching my mouth a ton and i couldnt stop gagging, and from getting the spikes removed i tasted glue again. and then six months later i was half-dead (not really), my mouth hurt, i had lost weight, i could hardly talk, and i was still spitting out blood all the time, but finally the expander got removed, i was free at last. oh wait plot twist, whichever idiot removed the expander FORGOT TO REMOVE SOME OF THE GLUE, so for a while i was walking around with glue in my mouth, until a dentist sent by god finally noticed it, and the glue was so stuck that she had to slowly pick it out, and then she cleaned where the glue was stuck for me. and i was actually free. and then i was told i need an Invisalign

I needed to get something called a “Cervical Headgear Appliance” because I had an even WORSE Bart Simpson lip. It was so bad that not even Braces could help with the overbite. That dental impression was pain, I almost threw up as it touched my sensitive palate. I still have the appliance today.
