My opinion is that war is mass murder and anyone who tries to convince people to die or to kill "for their country" is using propaganda to justify the murder of innocent people. Consider yourself lucky if youve never been grabbed by the quick sand of the american legal system. Ive been to both jail and prison on non violent non victim crimes, the system is 100 PERCENT guilty until proven innocent... and if you insist on a jury trial it will take a year or more sitting in jail just to have a jury who literally doesnt grasp "beyond a reasonable doubt" and just want to go home. Oh ya, if you dont take a plea and opt for trial, they will throw the entire book at you at sentencing as punishment for exercising due process, maxing you out on your sentence. Believe me, ive seen hundreds of incidents first hand. 10% of the incarcerated being innocent would be an under estimation In my opinion.

From my own experience in being jailed with mentally ill in Georgia, unsafe environments worsen their conditions, and they are released out into the same environment they came into jail on. This needs to change..
