Why am I not surprised that one of the most controversial systemic issues that’s been going on for 30 years was blamed on one man. Do better research of why it was august 2018 the availability became. If this is all because of trump, then he’s brilliant. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

As per norm, John & his incredible team shine a spotlight on the dark truths ppl avoid or never knew. Please cover big plastics bull 💩 recycling marketing. Only 1% is actually recycled - it's too expensive - thus, off to the landfill via a different truck. By 2050 there will more plastics in the ocean, by WEIGHT, than aquatic animals.

Interesting that the news never relates crime to poverty. Sure some folks of means are criminals (like a certain draft dodger) but that's because of idiosyncrasies.

Parents: teach your kids some basic dishes to cook. Eg My kids & I love browned ground meat, steamed microwave vegetables (eg stir fry veggies, broccoli, mixed veggies, etc) , and a carb (eg instant mashed potatoes, pasta, rice). Spice as you like (eg Lawry’s garlic salt, soy sauce, etc). Eat in a bowl. Save leftovers in Rubbermade square tupperwares for 2-4 days of 1-3 meals per day. 😋

Keep sayin' it Mr. Oliver. Virginia now has abolished the death penalty when it was the executin'-est state in the union next to Texas (and maybe Florida?). That occurred when we finally turned the state a tentative blue and had a Democratic governor who was, perhaps not coincidentally, a doctor. Our blue status is constantly in jeopardy, but if we can keep awareness high about the barbarity of the current state of executions, not to mention the disparate application of it, hopefully we can keep it abolished here and expand in states that are trending purple/blue.

My parents pulled me out of school in 4th grade, I did cyber school for two years, and then was homeschooled. But the homeschooling was just...my parents telling me to handle it. And they'd buy me books if I asked for them. But it was all up to me. And I was supposed to somehow do it, but I was also yelled at if I was caught actually doing schoolwork because schoolwork is "selfish because it serves you and no one else." I was honestly pulled out of school to be an unpaid childcare and housekeeping worker for my 8 younger siblings. I was their teacher, but I had no teacher outside of books and Wikipedia. And I was getting overworked and abused the whole time. And I have younger siblings still in that situation.

The disparity in how different states handle Medicaid, especially in terms of eligibility, is indeed a cause for concern. There are many people who really need this assistance but get hindered due to administrative errors or confusion. It's a system that needs serious re-evaluation and improvement for the benefit of all citizens.

If there's any real reason I resent "The Da Vinci Code", it's because it arrived just a few years before everyone's parents joined Facebook, and primed them to become conspiratorial thinkers; to take a few confirmable facts to weave an elaborate narrative to conclude what they want to believe. The brilliant Easter episode of South Park illustrates how easy it is to do this, and how quickly it gets absurdly out of hand.

It is not socialism to guarantee healthcare for everyone, it is humanism and just fulfilling the ideals of the constitution. I live in a country that will never charge you more than 40 dollars for visiting the healthcare system, even if your visit leads to surgical intervention and overnight stay, you never pay more.

The stores almost always look completely unorganized. The aisle layout is all over the place, hardly anyone really working there. I swear the DG down from my house, I've walked in, grabbed a few items, went to the self checkout, and not seen one employee, which I know they work there, but they're usually in the back or outside smoking. It seems these stores are always in the middle of truck delivery or rearranging shit. The groceries aren't always at a bargain either. It's convenient, that's about it. And they're fucking everywhere! Literally within 2 miles of each other.

"I would go five stars across the board"..? Really John..? "Across the board"..??? Somehow I sincerely doubt you'd be as "understanding" of "workers plight" if your food "mysteriously" disappeared even though your order was "finalized", only for you to check your door-cam and see that that "poor" worker brought the food, placed it beside your door, took a picture, took the food back, and f*cked-off.. or perhaps you'd be a bit "insulted" if you'd find that your drink is half-empty, and only two French fries remaining.. and I actually would pay to sea how you would react fining some "unknown" substance in your order that was delivered by some "rambunctious" teenager.. 😕whether you admit it or not, there are weirdos in ALL industries, so going "five starts across the board" is, in my opinion, counterproductive.. btw, I work as Bolt (something like EU Uber) driver, so I know a thing or two about the need for "positive" reviews.. but I've met some... "interesting" clients, and from what I heard there are quite a few drivers who, lets say, are FAR from a "five star" review..

Thank you again John for releasing and uploading the full episodes on the official channel, been watching the show in low res and the camera jumping and zooming in at random and had to watch it on unofficial channels on yt that got deleted a few hours later, now those unofficial channels ran out of business and views and this channel and vids get more views and exposure since they can stay up and they're not low res and zooming in and out at random and flipping the image and mirroring it to avoid the automatic copyright. The best remedy for piracy is always just to release it on the official channels to the public and the original source benefits from this as well because there's nothing to pirate so no leeching off views. Thank you John, very cool!

Actually, Edison plays a more important role in efficient power transport, because Edison promoted a DC grid, which does not incur capacitive losses so cables can be insulated and put next to each other in the ground. However, unlike today there was no way to transform DC, so AC was used for distribution and transport.
