I am eyeing that vesa mount very closely. I use iPad Pro everyday. And that would help my ergonomic posture and neck even more. And would save me money from shelling for that Studio Display.

Hi Chris, Does your iPad sometimes freeze? I now experience the frozen iPad again. My M2 iPad pro freezes when I open Lumafusion to edit some videos this morning. What I think I need to do is to restart it or charge it again even though the battery is full. Is there any other way to fix this? I searched for support from Apple in my country, but I think I should ask other users instead. Thank you in advance for any response. And thanks for your many important videos about iPad.

Using Files app on my iPad Pro M1 11" is the worst experience I have ever had... iPadOS 16 is Ok, but since I updated to iPadOSs 17, my pride drops... - Randomly freezing: Sometimes, it just freezes, can't do anything, rotating just make it glitch. Force closing the app become more frequent after 17.2, 17.3, and now 17.4.1. - File not found: Oh dear... After 17.3 update, I start getting this weird problem. All the files just disappear. "On my iPad" is no longer there. It's just like unplug an external hard drive while browsing the files. And all I can do is restart my iPad to get it back to normal (for a short time)

They appear behind the top widget/s - I can’t seem to find any videos or info on the most recent Today View- would welcome any ideas !

You forgot the most impactful and easiest to do: allow mac OS to be installed on any of the M series iPads. There's literally no reason why it can't run aside from Apple not allowing it. It doesn't need to ship with mac OS (although I support that), but it should be an option to install.

Absolutely hate the Files app. It’s horrendous. I have been using Documents by Readdle for years and well before Files was released. Documents is powerful and exactly how a file management system should be.

I’m currently facing an issue with the safari downloads .it downloads in iCloud I try to change to download on my iPad storage but it automatically switches to iCloud. I talked to customer support of Apple twice but 1st said it’s a bug and 2nd said it’s a new feature. Can you please tell me if you are also facing the same issue after iPadOS 17.4.1 . It is the worst iPad app made by apple. It is glitchy and crashes VERY often. iPad os 18 must fix the Files app it is the essential piece of software like the gallery app.

Hi! The lack of eject button HAS caused issues for me. iPadOS has corrupted one of my hard drives, which wouldn't mount anywhere and made Macs crash systematically. The solution was to use HFS+ on a windows computer (not a virtual machine because... the Mac would crash 🙃) and I recovered the drive (after a year of thinking all my projects on it were gone!) Clearly, it seems to be exception to the rule and there surely factors that played in that I don't fully understand (was I on a beta? Was it the format of the drive? A specific app?) I just wanted to bring some nuance to the "ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE" argument in your video. 💛

Besides the wishes on the Oled screen, I thing nothing else that you want will happen, but is ok to dream. I even don’t think iPads needs new screens neither the M3 chip, it needs new software only and just that. Let’s keep the hope for more 300 years! 🤣🤣😂😂 🥲 (I’m sad about the things I said) Keeping this things in mind, do you think that the Oleds screens is going o be enough to increase IPad sells this year? From my point of view and the rumors that I heard, the only thing possible to save the iPad sells this year is going to be the Rumored iPad Air 12.9. What you think? 🧐

Gonna maybe get this VESA mount option to do spreadsheets, stream sports, zoom meetings and do everything on a clean desk setup. looks really amazing and I’ll be using my M1 Macbook Pro more often to do GarageBand and iMovie on a bigger screen which is nice. That will get me using my Mac more often instead of using my iPad Pro snd not get anything done except reading books, streaming, and writing down notes. But iPad has so many apps to learn code to learning languages and has fast 5G for traveling. and I do travel a lot. Not sure to spend the cash on this display. Gonna see.

I use spotlight a lot, it really is a great tool. My only issue is, that searching within files only works on local files, which is absolutely understandable. However, I haven’t found a way to automatically download files that are synced through iCloud Drive. If I add a file let‘s say on my Mac, I have to manually force the download on my iPad. It would really be great if the device could do that for me.
