The title makes me think of Schindler’s List, but the music gives off more of a sci-fi vibe.

Laying there facing her after having crawled in through the broken back window. My radio crackling with talk from those who were busy outside trying to figure how to lift the log. My voice trying to stay calm as I fought back the sadness of already knowing what will happen. Once they did lift the heaviest log. We talked just her and I. We got to know each other's names. Her husband's name her two sons and grandchildren. I told her about my wife and our expecting baby girl. Each time when asked for any pain medication. She just slowly shook her head while softly telling me no. With a squeeze of my gloved hand. She asked if I would pray with her. Prayed we did, while fighting back the flow of tears. That had now built up in my eyes. When the call come on the radio for me to crawl out. So, the doctor who had been brought to the scene could talk with me. She told me please don't leave me all alone. I radioed back. Telling them about my promise not to leave her. Each check of her vital signs gave me the answer I was expecting. When the time came for me to tell them to lift the oversized heaviest log off her. She looked at me, asking if I could tell her family how much she loved them all. I promised her I would. She looked at me one last time. Smiled and told me she was ready. And thanked me for staying with her. I held her hand, when her eyes finally closed. Finely letting go as they placed her in the back of the ambulance. I found a spot there to be alone. And cried until my eyes hurt. I kept my promise to her when I got to the hospital.

My nickname Amadea was stolen, I used it in many MMORPGs. Amadea music production.. 😁
