A friend a work started having behavioral issues and over 3 months they became worse. He was even getting violent on occassion. This was very noticeable because her was always a role model employee. He got tested and they found a brain tumor which they removed but he had to retire after because he could no longer do his job...SAD..The University offered him a quiet modified desk job at his full trade wages but he declined. I miss Chad! He was a really decent guy and a awesome plumber but didnt deseve this!

I came across this video, trying to search out information.. I'm 50 yrs old, had a left TKR in 2015. I had issues with my knee freezing up in the beginning due to me keeping it on a pillow ( totally my fault) was able to get full range with PT. But right under my knee by my tibial I always had bad burning pain, also I was always swelling up in that area sometimes like a balloon. Asked my orthopedic about it, he said it was just a fat deposit.. But I never understood why If I walked on uneven ground, gravel stairs it would blow up even more.. just figured we'll this is my new normal. Fast forward to Feb 13 2024, woke up with severe pain in my left knee/leg so bad it felt like I was newly post op.. went to the ER due to the pain, tested for blood clots and next day at my orthopedics office had an aspersion done. Both test normal, but my inflammatory markers were very high. Within 2-3 days all my joints in my body was hurting. I was sent to a RA specialist, plus sent to a joint -orthopedic specialist for 2nd opinion. My bone scan showed I have losing and also a 10/11 % malformation in my replacement. So I was told I was going to need a revision. My confusion and worry is why & what caused the other joints in my body to hurt so bad? I was placed on high doses of sterioids, that helped my joints but not my left knee.. that's still very swollen, still very painful and burning in my tibial bone area. Ive asked if I could be allergic to something in my component is there a allergy test but I get looked at like I'm crazy. Also I want to add my skin on areas on my body, arms and back and left leg I feel like someone's rubbed bengay or something it's a very cold/burn feeling and that's on different areas on my body. I know this is alot I hope someone can help maybe give me insight.

I just came across this site today. Last night I was told that my Barret's is no longer there. I honestly do not know how to express my gratitude to those who treated me. I was out on Omeprazole morning and evening before meals. Later on I was prescribed Alverine. I was just searching for other people with similar stories as mine to understand my diagnosis last night. To those who suffer with Barret's, please do not despair. Just eat the right stuff. I wish you all the best

What I'd love to know is this. My husband was injured nearly three years ago at work when he went to help someone and came to an abrupt halt (like playing netball). The peroneal nerve was later found to be damaged. This took a long time to be diagnosed because the insurance company were not quick to act and everyone thought it was just like a strain injury and would heal itself. However, it is permanent. Only two of the nerves in the right foot have slightly healed, one has not improved at all after 3 years. He has been living in constant pain for 3 years. He has no feeling in his right foot at all, can't voluntarily move his toes and his foot is always swollen and he can't wear enclosed shoes, only open sandals and painful every day of his life now. He cannot walk very far as the pain becomes too intense. He doesn't sleep well as the pain wakes him up in the early hours of the morning. Medical specialists at home have basically said they cannot do anything to help him. He has had scans, nerve conductions tests, you name it. I'm not one to believe that things can't ever be done. I believe where there's a will, there's a way. We can't do things together any more due to his inability to walk properly and we can't go on long walks any more or enjoy walking around site seeing on holidays. Any ideas of someone who can help? Specialists he has seen at home here in Australia have just he's too old. I don't believe something can't be done to improve his life.

I had this diagnosis when I was 15 years old in the early 2000s. They decided it was a side effect from an acne medication called Minocycline. I had taken the medication for 2 years without any problems, but went to a walk in clinic for an ear infection and the doctor told me to double the medication because then it would act as an antibiotic. In 2 weeks, my headaches became so intense I heard my heart pounding in my head 24/7. I dreamed about it in my sleep. I couldn't escape that sound or the pain. I began sleeping till about 3 in the afternoon which was not typical for me. I began to have vision blackouts especially when I changed positions from laying down to sitting up to standing up. I couldn't pass my drivers test because I was afraid I'd blackout while driving. I went to an eye doctor who sent me to my doctor for an MRI. I then had a spinal tap which made me sick and I threw up for days. I felt like I would be okay with not living anymore. Finally, I took an experimental medicine and had follow up visits for years. I have to wear glasses now, but overall, I made a full recovery. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. If you're suffering with this, please don't give up hope.

I wonder if occupational exposure (with gloves being the only PPE) to solvents used to clean and varnish electronic circuit boards (after a repair) can cause my similar symptoms. I also serviced videojet printers for 11 months and had a headache everyday on the job. Now the Dr says GAD isn't my problem. Back in 2008, they said I suffered from a psychogenic movement disorder and former John Hopkins neurologist Dr. Paul Dash & psych Dr. Adam Rosenblatt agreed - sent me thru SSRI treatment to my detriment. VA now says no to conversion disorder but can't say what's up. I'm afraid they'll never figure it out or let me know.

How can I be healed of PTSD flashbacks? Rage and grief consume me. I LIVE IN almost CONSTANT TERROR AND PANIC! I suffer from endless suicidal depression and horrific PTSD flashbacks. My soul is raped. All 44 years of my life, so far, have just been suffering. I can no longer bear the suffering. My rage is red-hot-white. My grief is as big as 999-trillion oceans. PRAYER: Lord, I pray for healing: physically, emotionally, mentally, psychologically, and spiritually, In JESUS' name: break every chain, stronghold, yoke, every generational curse, and all witchcraft, and spell work. Holy Spirit, anoint me: from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. Release me, completely, from every darkness looming around me, in Jesus' name. Shine your light, your healing, your saving grace, and power over me. And FILL me with YOUR AGAPE LOVE and grace. I speak peace over my heart and mind and soul and body, in JESUS' name. So be it. So it is. Praise be to God. Hallelujah! AND, ACTUALLY... I am not in hell, I am in heaven! Always will be! But it's been like having an earplug in my ear... Having the enemy calling me constantly from “hell”, the enemy wants to confuse me... The devil is a liar, making me forget that heaven is inside me!

best advice is take everything in moderation Im on it for life after 2 x seperate PEs here in the UK i purchased my own blood test machine and the doctors provide test strips lancets and pens free of charge, I telephone my local blood clinic every 12 x weeks because im very stable for the last eight years. The only reason of why i purchased my own was the cattle market and time at the clinics, my normal self testing is once every two weeks but its very stable all year so no real worrys, every twelve months the blood clinic do a home visit to do a double test once on there machine and once on my own machine just to calaberate the two results that aso checks my personal machine, Only one thing seems to effect my INR and thats antibiotics which means a few more tests = twice per week just to keep check. Anybody new to warfarin is dont be afraid you will settle down very fast once you become stable and will not think of it on a day to day basis. Good Luck.

I saw a lot of things and his journey was intense for a short while. God is good. I’m thankful for this profession. One dirty instrument is all it takes….

10 years ago I took a fall and broke my femur right down the middle. I was in the hospital for 3 days and and in acute rehab for 21 days when I came out I couldn't walk. I was in a wheelchair for months going from neurologist to neurologist. They couldn't find any reason why I couldn't walk. Until I went to a neurologist at a research center they research Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. And she gave me the diagnosis of drug-induced caused by a drug used for a long period of time called depakote(prescribed 500 mg take two at bedtime) she prescribed a lumbar puncture test and when I got back to her office I got up out of a wheelchair and walked with no atrophy (I had already exercised regularly when I was stuck in a wheelchair for 8 months).
