I think you should have gotten a muligan on the level cap for that double rival fight, because of the dev making them higher level than the gym, and not warning you. Like seriously, this is horribly imbalanced anyways, just by the new type chart, so i think that's fair. That said, i hope someone evolves this idea, adding more unique sprites, more types, more types per pokemon, and hell, maybe a gimmick, like baking the pokemon to make them stronger offensively and freezeing them to make them defensively better. Be it an easy way to change evs or an entire new evo line is up for debate, I'd love it to be the latter, but regardless, going further with the idea would genuinely be a good idea.
