It’s so sad so many people, including me, love rocket league so much, but have to deal with the zero communication and shit. Invisible man feels like it’s been a thing for almost a month at this point. I pray for nothing in this world but I pray for ue5. If they add ue5 I swear I’ll buy whatever the fuck they want me to buy in the item shop. I just want ue5.

I get that people want gameplay changes but in a game like RL what would you do? Do you want them to start changing acceleration of cars or how much boost you can have? I feel like part of RLs beauty is that the game doesn't change but people get better with time. Like QOL changes like the boost circle are basically the only things that can be done
you don't really need to change much you're right, the boost change was very smart because it added something that complimented the way players play the game and hopefully they continue with that same mindset

It isn't just Ddos. It's bots. Too many players now can hide the fact that they can use AI to help them. It's close to death.

I believe rocket league does not need any gameplay change for the core game but what we need in reality is different game mode that’s not just mutators and a name put on a mode they need to focus on variety when it comes to gamemodes like knockout

I understand content creators who have thousands of hours in the game and who have to make content on it want more core gameplay changes, but I think the fact that rl's core gameplay hasn't changed much is fantastic and I think most people would agree.
Not really. They accidentally added flip resets years ago, which completely changed the trajectory of the game for the better and elevated the skill ceiling massively to support more creative play-styles and how players can interact with the game. They are more than capable of adding gameplay features such as side-flip cancels that can do the same thing without sabotaging the core gameplay

Also I can not play the game unless I uncap my fps and run my gpu to get 500+ frames of if I put it at any low at like 250 I stutter and the game renders horribly. Any other game that does not fly but rocket league

I mean, not to blame them (well, why not) but... you know something is wrong if you spend more time (7 years) fixing your own failures (bugs) instead of adding new gameplay features (not just selling new stuff)... Sadly, I love Rocket League so much that I wouldn't stop playing it lol

@@Ryctre Game is so cooked honestly. Ever since f2p, things have just gotten steadily worse. Can't even enjoy wacky casual sweaty lobbies without worrying about the party of fresh accs that start losing 0-3 immediately, only for the server to then get ultra laggy for me and my tm, leading to completely incorrect interactions, unfavourable 50s, whiffs, jumps not registering, etc. It ain't even cooked anymore, shit's burnt.

The "adjustment" to demos was that you can be demoed when YOU t-bone an opponent or get sideswiped.
ngl the corner bounce thing wasn't even really an issue, it was the smallest of issues that people didn't notice, the only reason it even was brought to light was because of people just searching for bs just trying to find anything wrong with the game. They had nothing better to do than to look at hitboxes or random shit and be like "um ackshully, the ball bounces 0.00001 meters higher off of this corner" such a nothing burger

yeah there’s not really any point in looking at the fps counter in this game for that reason lmao. you can try making rocket league run as admin, it’s worked when me and friends have stutter/fps issues. If you look up how to make rocket league run as admin there’s a bunch of them.
it only took 4000 epic employees 5 years to add that little boost meter on our nameplates, very impressive and efficient work load they seem to have over there

Well it's a big update less because of the size of the content added but the fact it is an actual gameplay change, which is pretty rare. And I don't blame them for not adding more gameplay changes considering the actual gameplay itself is basically perfect

So you probably didn’t like rocket league to begin with then? Because trading isn’t core to rocket league. If you really enjoyed rocket league, then epic removing trading should’ve had little to no effect on your willingness to play the game. If epic removed boost, well that’s pretty core to the game and many people would leave and that’d make sense

yeh i wouldnt know what to change with the core gameplay, it plays fine. Also everyone always complains about servers and lag issues but i might get a laggy server maybe 1 in 50 games.
I think it has a lot of things to develop. While not changing foundation, you can add so many game modes, so many maps, so many different little things. With your logic most of the games are meant to be dead
@@Lucas-m11 it depends on your region. Some regions are pretty much 1 in 5 matches awful server. Also you can change many things without changing core gameplay. In fact most of the games in all their life time do not change core gameplay and yet have like a lot of other updates that make the game alive
@@jankoo285 many of the games allow you to add operators, change the mechanics of the game sometimes even the movement. rocket league is a game where u practically can't change anything, no one who is decent at the game will play the new modes for more than 20 minutes. new maps are repetitive as it's just the same thing reskinned with a new goal sound
@@neb9428 That’s what I mean, don’t add new stupid maps, there are a lot of workshop maps, that many would actually play if they could. Maps with challenges like on of the Lethamyr’s or maps with exploration and so many more. Different ratings for those maps and so on. And no adding new heroes like Valorant isn’t a change in game foundation, sure we can’t add new heroes. But let’s look at for example CS2 they never changed much of game foundation except amount of round that they brought back. Except that they don’t add anything else that is fundamentally changed the game. And yet the game is far from dead. Most of the games don’t change foundations of their game. And no adding new Heroes or new maps isn’t a fundamental change, that’s just new content. And for rocket league there is many opportunities for new content. Of course the question remains if people will play it, but that’s different and if you just think that no one will play it so never add it then in the end you deserve for your game to die. Bring new content to gain new players, that’s how it works
