From my experience with a Lenovo laptop, it probably still functioned as it was beforehand. Those things can push through just about as much shit as life throws at them. And god knows they'll need that endurance, considering how easily they fall apart anyway.

I've never noticed instability even after repacking it. The screws hold it and rigidity comes from the lip around the edge and the thickness of material. I don't see why this would be a better option at all, maybe cheaper but then why apparently just on the high end stuff? Haha. I've observed most are so insecure of their own authenticity and true success, they instead take measures to appeat wealthy when in fact theres no money in their bank. Trends are stupid and for chumps who think paying thousands for inevitably flawed prototypes (first released) is backwards. I mean, people pay companies tons of money they usually can't afford on something which will soon be outdated with the proper release or a few variations in lol

Ive never felt true feartil it wastime to install the CPU. Oh and the GPU too, it was assive and didint fit in the hole very well. Wound up also destroying the first AND second mother board by bending cpu pins. Not fun.

As someone who once worked at a Beat Buy and was trained to join GeekSquad, I'm sorry. It never occurred to me until you said thar how many small repair shops they directly helped kill off. My location would constantly recommend local small businesses that had better prices than us to help support them and to save people money, especially when it came to Apple products, (and to purchase parts at Fry's electronics before they went out of business) but I am sure that wasn't a company wide policy. Maybe that's why I cant find a job in the industry myself... Shit.

The funniest part about the "just because something fits in the hole doesn't mean it belongs there' is that I've built enough PCs to know that those plugs don't even probably line up well in the first place! The last few i built had triangles and squares in them of varying angles and sizes specifically to keep you from jamming them in by mistake!!!!

hey, I followed the instructions, but now my trackpad doesn't work. Can't seem to figure out why, since the clicks still work, but tracking is not. I have 2021 version, and it seems a bit different from the one on the video. System recognizes HID and all drivers are updated. Which parts are responsible for the trackpad, and how would it be possible to fix it?

Just had to fix my gaming laptop because the SSD stick was getting too hot. The thermal strip was torn. Moved it to the other connection that was fine. Works again 👍
