Despite the demoralizing experiences she's had, I sound more outraged after a nasty experience with retail customer service. Maybe that's been my saving grace: absolutely no tolerance for disrespect but ability to endure miserable situations until I can successfully exit the bad situation, even when it took years. I guess that's it. Whatever, I am grateful for my fate so far. I wish this lady a successful exit from her troubles. Yes, if only she could have stayed with her aunt. In restrospect, how much worse could that have been?

Is there a statue of limitation there for her not to be able to press charges and put him in jail?
