It is inconceivable to me how Old Kingdom Egyptians would have been able to accomplish all the building work in more or less 3-4 generations (from Snofru to Mykerinos - or Snefru to Menkaure). Why, it would even seem inconceivable to do so in our time. Pyramids, Sphinx, Valley Temple and not forgetting all the statuary. And then all the precise work in granite. The logistics alone is mindboggling, especially for a civilisation that is just starting out. Hm.

Heres my Theory on the very top of the massive Pyramid. I think the top.was slowly twisted because the very top.was covered on Gold Leaf. The reflection could be blinding due to the brightness of The Sun. I think over the millennium, the Gold Sheath was stolen and the top bricks were toppeled and most likely looted..

I really doubt the Great Pyramid was a tomb. Who really knows? The dead cannot talk. THAT pyramid in particular has features built SO precisely, so peculiar(grand gallery, 'ventilation' shafts, submerged sarcophagi, impossible alignment, specific granites used in very specific places, descending corridors to mislead grave robbers?, stone cutting refinement suggesting machinery was used etc etc etc), that we are missing crucial information which explains WHY it was built the way it was. A tomb does not cut it by a long shot. It looks like it belongs in pre-history. So ancient that it was mysterious to Khufu himself. I always wonder why many parts of the world exhibit pyramids??!
