RIP Dickey Betts. A true Rockstar, who was very humble, modest and down to earth, yet so talented. Perhaps not quite as gifted as Duane, or maybe just in a different way. Duane was much more of an aggressive guitarist, and you were much more intricate and detail-oriented when playing the electric. Regardless, you will be missed by many, and especially, by me. 😢

Great album.

Turned on this song as soon as I heard Dickey had passed away. Before the song had ended, the clouds broke up and the blue sky came out. And to top it off, a cardinal flew by my window. I like to think him and Duane are playing together again with solid gold Les Pauls. But lighter than solid gold because they are made in heaven. My all time favourite song.

Damnit! Dickie has gone on ahead. I always loved his style and swag. I hear his influence, mostly, in Henry James.

Musicians please! Hey kids play instruments again. We old people are pleading with you. Its good culture, its creative, now get to it dammit.
