I have not seen the fireworks shows before. This was amazing. The coordination of music, fountains and fireworks is extraordinary. I would love to see more of the fountain shows posted on line, especially some of the classical ones that are generally not performed anymore. Thank you Longwood!

Your stove pipe baffle has been proven to NOT stop snakes or raccoons. 8“ x 5‘ stove pipe baffle is the only way to positively deter these two predators.

It would be nice to see all of the house. It's a shame they limit people to only the first floor. I always try to peak up the stairwells to see as much as possible, knowing full well you can't see anything. It's a real bummer. And now they're saying there's a bowling alley in the basement? Why is that also off limits??
My thoughts exactly. I’ve been visiting Longwood Gardens for 30 years and I have never seen upstairs. I certainly NEVER knew there was a bowling alley. I wish they at least had an exhibit with pictures if we can’t go see it ourselves.
Yes there was a bowling alley but no longer. There was a glass bottomed fish tank in the basement also. Bowlers could look up and see the fish. There is also a tunnel from the house to the garage. I’ve seen the 2nd floor. Rooms are offices. Bathroom is original.

I’ve got a huge yellow Clivia that I bought in the shop there at Longwood. It’s in full bloom right now and is stunning! I have an orange one as well and I think these are woefully under appreciated among the new crop of plant lovers. Thanks for posting.

I would advice all to visit the VALLEY OF FLOWERS in the Indian provience of uttarakhand in himalayas where these flowers grow in spring.......but the valley remains closed in winter due to heavy snow..... Also visit the SINGBA RHODODENDRON SANCTUARY in the Indian provience of sikkim in may........it also remains closed in winter for heavy snow...
Everything about Longwood is beautiful and amazing. This work will only solidify this fact.
