How about a pattern for a preperbackpack?

I've sewn the Vienne blouse and used a press stud rather than a hook and eye, works better for me. Lovely blouse and an easy make.

Is there a pattern for the quilt that’s hanging behind you

To me, there is no wrong way or right way to do this block. It's a design change. It all works together. And if the people are not quilters or if they are quilters; they will see the difference and think it's just part of the design. I have done that many a time with these templates and other templates. I have about 30 blocks so far with more to make.

I agree with Kaffe about overcast skies adding texture & color to the landscape. I grew up just south of San Francisco & although our town had green soaces, we were surrounded by dry brush, grass & chaparral. I learned to appreciate the subtleties between the new green fronds of a palm tree compared to it's older, darker, leathery green fronds. The color of grass, as the wind blows thru it, looks like golden ocean waves. The olive green of mistletoe hanging from oak trees & the silvery green of olive tree leaves. But, I moved to Oregon in my later years & discovered a whole different world of color. Truly overcast days are quite depressing but the dappled sun of spring combined with new plant growth & people emerging from a long cold winter make for an explosion of color. The different hues of green is staggering. Blue skies, chrystal clear blue waters & blue/grey shadows from neighboring mountains all add to the color rainbow. We still have reds, oranges & yellows from the beautiful sunrises & sunsets. And the rain brings May flowers of all colors (Portland has a world class rose garden).

I am so grateful to Kaffe for reintroducing me to color. I knew color as a child but then grew up & started decorating in greys & browns. I am 62 & putting color back in my life & I am so happy. I love this book as it's so inspiring. Thank you, Kaffe. BTW, I'm from the central coast of California but I'm a closet Angliphile. You're so lucky. Keep the books coming.

Hello Sir, I saw your KRplus channel and understand you are a KRplusr. Very nice video on your channel, I really enjoyed it. Total 18.4k+ subscribers and a Total of 2099+ Uploaded videos of your channel. I noticed one thing according to your channel your channel videos are not viewed and subscribed. You need to optimize your channel and do video SEO to reach your target audience. Otherwise, if you upload videos to your channel throughout the year, none of your videos will get viral views. If your channel is optimized a little and if the videos are SEO then your channel will rank very fast and your channel will grow. And monetization of your channel will be on. I would like to help you in this matter. Looking forward to your reply, thanks

I can't believe I got to see Tracy Perks on the program. Her patterns are amazing! They are printed larger than more patterns which make it so much easier to work with and since my eyes aren't what they used to be, the larger print is perfection. That is probably important for most quilters.

  • @SophisticatedGnome

"The Big Heart" is the perfect name for Tracy Perks' pattern. It describes her as well. Love that design.

I am watching on KRplus and would love the sound to be a bit more muted. Maybe it's me but younger folk have said the same. There is a lady on Hobbymaker who is also too high-pitched and like a steam train'.....Maybee you don't need me to buy but it is a pity.

Why are you wearing the rain bow colors. The rain bow colors is to represent the rain bow God gave to Noah after the flood. Anytime you are sewing you should stay neutral in your beliefs. I will pray to Jesus to change your view on homosexuality. God created man and woman and that is the way it is.
