Coming from a pro detailer myself, this is definitely an impractical and unrealistic way to detail. Pros don't do that in real life.

So I cleaned my brand new cars dashboard and it turned all flaky. I used Chemical guys interior cleaner. Then used their nonsense cleaner. Why do u think it turned flaky. I even used JUST WATER the next day on an untouched area of the dash and still it flaked. How can i fix it?

I'd say moonshine. Mostly because that is about what it looks like when I do carpet or mats. The strokes of the extractor kind of naturally make that pattern.

How are you actually allowed to do this in your home yard? In Germany, for example we are not allowed to clean our cars or motorbikes in our own home yard because of all the chemicals that pull the environment.

I was always told that I didn’t need to do this or that, it’ll be fine or they could probably do a better job than me or it may be the new cash grab in Florida to have an automatic car wash on every corner now and everyone says , I’ll just run it through there, really? So I ask, yeah you get a free vacuum session but who’s gonna get that juice stain out the seat or safely remove the dried candy stuck to the interior? If you don’t have the money to pay me , just say that. Don’t make the detailers job seem useless. 🙄
