War Stories in Kino
가입일: 2020. 12. 01.
Men's entire existence, from the beginning, is a state of war. We, as the "War Stories in Kino," are trying to convey this state of existence as it is shown on the silver screen. Rather it is with battle scenes, training or skirmish scenes; rather with more of a cultural and aesthetic approach, such as "rituals" or the very reflection of life or the war. In time, we will be focusing on creating more narrative perspectives with different kinds of content. Please enjoy the channel and be sure to subscribe.

The fact that that battle scene was only two cuts is insane
Although there are other scenes of shinobi attacks later in the series, the popular stereotype of the black-clad ninja is can be somewhat of a myth. This kunoichi, or female shinobi, hid in plain sight, in everyday clothing and integrated with the household as a maid. When the time was right, she struck. No flashiness or trickery or puffs of smoke or flying shuriken stars. She activated just like a modern CIA field operative or sleeper assassin and killed.
I cried, i never cry. Wtf this moment is so amazing!!!
Does anyone know what the village guy says when he sees them.
This scene could've been much better if it was faster. It was too obvious that the actors were waiting for the guy to kill them. In real war people don't just stand when they're about to be killed. They'll fight back or dodge/run away
Ww1 flashback
For those of you that don't know they are attacking a Russian village. Not that there was much of a sense of a "Russia" at this time
I absolutely love this documentary series!! 🤍 Couldn't be Prouder of my name and ancestry from Europe!!
For real though, if Comyn had said “let me think about it” instead of berating Robert, he could have gotten away with it lol
Least angry Scottish argument
a mediocre direction, all the defenders of the village simulated the fight very badly, some attackers could see their company panties (in those days there were no panties)...children's film
Insulting a man/teen who wields a cannon....
THAT is what cannons do. No big explosions, just a metal ball ripping apart whatever it hits.
"Samurai" expressed in an amazing scene
Ukrainians learnt a lot from vikings during 1943
Blade : iam the vampire hunter Helsing : you fictional movie stars, iam the best dracula hunter Hansel N gretel : youre both fool, we are the best witch and vampire hunter! Muhammad II (mehmed) :🤫
Nebara Jozen kind of seals his fate when (paraphrasing) he said, "Hey kid, after all this there's a career for you in show business (as a clown)." The kid would probably might not have killed him if not for that...
dust level in the air seems to go up when I watch this scene. just brilliant
Almost all the extras and main actors used scalp caps (skin colored silk with lots of make-up to hide it) to emulate the Samurai "Chonmage" shaved scalp hairstyle. The actor playing Kashigi Omi (Hiroto Kanai) chose to shave his head and actually do the authentic Chonmage hairstyle of the period just for the show!
Dude casually pulled a ghost of tsushima move
Tys mu to potom poslal co se dělo v Rusku
Them mfrs didn't realise that This Mfrs didnt know that he would revive after his head is chop off.
I like how the movie implies the bad treattment of the indians over the years. They bring the old chief back to montana so he can die. Then instead of finding the boys people to leave him with, the white chick puts him in a suit and packs him off to chicago or wherever so she can turn him into a good ol white boy.
Is this supposed to be Sekigahara reenactment..? where the kid couldn't make up his mind and confused itself by attacking his own teammate and then committed suicide afterwards?
Goosebumps, what a scene
The best scene even after the episode 10. The illustration of the value of the honour - death for respect is more than inglorious life.
It’s even more epic now we know he was NOT a spy
These tanks got stuck in the mud. Probably they did more damage in the movie then in actual battle.
There was a time when people knows, what they signed up for
Well... that escalated quickly
Really wish they would've used period accurate tanks for this. There are a few still running, and even more replicas. They could've filmed all tanks with just one
6:31 the look of man scorn by destiny fate and tragedy. Wow.
It’s incredible how complex and multifaceted all of the characters are in this series. We’re primed to hate Buntaro for his harsh treatment of Mariko and her son, and then we’re shown an incredible display of bravery and sacrifice on his part.
Amazing scene
This Samurai is so b@d @$$ it’s unbelievable!!! 🫡
To me, the best scene of the entire -amazing-season; captured honor, bravery, and valor so elegantly, perfection!
This is... ok... but the 1971 version is far and away the better rendition.
How magnificent this show is.
Deutschland in 1918. 😅
His change in expression after bowing and then looking at his wife and fighting back his emotions was brilliant.
If you think about it weapons today have the same concepts as old warfare bows and arrows replaced with missiles, swords with guns (still piercing the body basically) chariots with any military vehicle but instead of having horses in the front you now have engines with its power measured by horsepowers (hp), and those catapults that would throw balls of fire at you or rocks are basically bombs today, you would have thought we'd have weapons of a different kind by now, i guess the only really new kind of weapons we have now are planes like fighter jets and helicopters and def submarines, if you went back in time with just one F16 and one Apache helicopter with a shitload of ammo you can literally take over the world there is nothing that they had in those days that can take down an F16 or an Apache

I never realized how terrifying cannons were until I saw this, and they only fired 4 times. I can't even imagine how terrifying it would be to have these things firing constantly every second or so over a battle over the course of several days.
Why is he wearing a tiara.
0:49 he trained his whole life to enter the household guard of Toranaga, only to get killed by lack of awareness
Like one of those Vietnam Scenes. Crazy.
This movie is low key Elden ring… jk but this movie was amazing, just as all A24 films are
Turks are allways like this and twist facts to the point logic is lost..now the invaders are the good guys and the defenders are the bad..
Turks and their tayiga..
