I love history and I love subjecting people to my unhinged rants about it. I also make the webcomic Cunning Fire.

The Messy Life of Chaos Bisexual Lord Byron
Order your copy of Symphony of the Sojourn by Rowan Alexandria Bennett here: www.amazon.com/dp/B0CS2GJL6X?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
Once called "Mad, bad, and dangerous to know," Lord George Gordon Byron was a mess of historic proportions. His talent was as famous as his bisexuality, along with numerous scandalous affairs, leading to his effective exile from England. But he also died a national hero in Greece, leaving Lord Byron with an incredibly mixed legacy. Come learn with me about this romantic scoundrel.

Your “feral baby” doesn’t seem feral! ❤
I did enjoy this. And your kitty too! Ty❣️
Another awesome informative learning experience, Kaz! Ty! Please do another on the world fair that happened near San Francisco. For the 1939 fair they built an entire island on the San Francisco Bay that still exists today-Treasure island.
Oracle of Delphi was smoking that za
My man took the whole "Greek life" thing a little too far
Lord Byron also once said it was wrong to watch attractive women eat, because it took away from their Angelic quality. He was wrong, seeing as the food itself is always comparatively "ugly"; maybe not in absolute terms, but compared to a beautiful woman. If anything, the fact that even pretty girls eat things is its own poetry in motion: To see the comparative ugliness of the food itself, digested and destroyed forever to become part of a beauty! One more thing Lord Byron was wrong about, here! You're beautiful! Would you ever consider eating anything on camera? Not a whole mukbang or anything, but just maybe a single fry of something? Lindsay Ellis once ate 3 or 4 chips in the middle of her video about Disney's Hercules, and worked it in smoothly with the flow of the video. You could do that too!
Lets bring back the terms Slumgulian, some pumpkins and tickity boo
Despite his fails, Byron did vibe. And he vibed hard. 💖💜💙
I aspire to live a life as noble and courageous as Jane's, and to have a love like the one Jane shared with Mary.
I love your videos and the pains you go through for your channel is admirable and I love the way you dress in period clothing
i thought the helen keller conspiracy was a joke? it was serious?
krampusnacht is so awesome. My due date was Xmas, that might explain a thing.
I’m excited to see this channel get up to a million. I got here from an Esoterica video and I’m here for it 🎉
I lost it when you called him a slut it was so funny
Now knowing more about her, I admire her much more. Thank you!
Another "weird little man" to talk about would be Dante Gabriel Rossetti, from the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. Such a dramatic and interesting story.
Lesbian cowgirls history of the wild west
Wait, short-haired gender-non-conforming women were called FAIRIES? Is that why it’s called a PIXIE CUT?!?
moomin plushies in the background :)
It wasn't 400 people that Mrs Astor ruled upon, which you said twice, it was 400 families. And Mobile Al. is pronounced mobeel not mo-bile.
>>>>>>> STICK IT BITCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This last unicorn book has the most raw quotes I’ve ever heard. I have childhood trauma and dissociation and body dysmorphia as well as being trans and that part about feeling your body rotting around you was too much for me at 8:30 am 😂 I am going to have to read this book asap
And today we have deadly microplastics in everything we digest.
Would you consider doing a video on the history of bras and binders?
This is one of my favorite historical figures. Thank you for this in-depth coverage. ❤
I find the comments offending and brutal with no emphaty and no understanding of Andersen's condition. Somehow I think it is flat and unfair, and I really dont understand the laughter of someones suffering.
Had to replay the story reviews at the beginning multiple times. The overdubs! 😂😂😂 Love your kitty! Ty for the info! ❤️
“Regency era all or nothing” hit me like a ton of bricks
12:32 I prefer the swimming pool too! 🤷🏻♀️ 25:18 being sick made him look mysteriously sexy.?!?!😮 He had sex with his sister?! WTH?! Granted he had been exploited as a child, even by family members, 😢. He made his own choices as he grew up, though. Not surprising how he turned out. Ty once again, Kaz! ❤
Why do you guck up your video with mask propaganda?
It didn't so much got burned, more like, defunded
“And you’re not welcome to roast Marshmallows at my fire pit” 😂 “Similar to bitch boy Ronald Reagan” 😂😂. I lived on a few ranches over the years but never liked rodeos. A gay rodeo, though, that I’d probably enjoy! Ty, Kaz. I enjoyed this. ❤
Omg, thank you so much for this! I grew up not far from there & visited quite a few time. The stories we were told were lies?! That’s just so wrong! I’m kinda po’d about this…🙄
It is absolutely an amazing mansion. And knowing all the grief she experienced, I have a newfound admiration for her.
Something I felt carried over as a strange and kinda criminal “medical thing” is putting whiskey on baby’s gum for teething. My mom did it for me and my brothers. Her mom did it to her and her siblings. And my grandmas mom did it for her.
People think that is “scratchy audio”…..? Are…. Are you serious? Some of these people need to listen to a cassette tape.
Didn’t realize how many sodas were originally sold as cures (I did know the coke with cocaine/kola nut making the name). Anyway, I can’t drink carbonated anything, so unless they put the cocaine back, sounds like I’m not missing anything.
Tutter?!?!
Free bleeding never made sense to me with the whole like oh they did nothing about their periods in the ancient times. And it never made sense to me because even in the Bible women on their periods had to sit on like a blanket or a rag and a lot of times they would stay away from other people because of the smell
Couldn't just make a doc about the art, had to bring the gay shit into it. Imagine a world where someone's merit was more important than who they fucked. Well, that was JC's world at least back then. Bigot ass liberals only see sex, sexual orientation, and skin color nowadays, lol. Shameful.
Canceling ppl from the 1920s is wild
"People would bring their children to see the dying or dead person, which is almost unheard of today..." it's absolutely heard of today. We bring kids to see family and friends as they are near death or when they have died. This is extremely common. As is the Last Rites process in the Catholic Faith. Kaz didn't think that statement through
Weimar degeneracy
You look exactly like Riley Reid
2:17 it's easy to imagine what that would look like, look at a video of an average Indian street, thats basically what it would've looked like
Fairytale: a True Story is a solid pilar of my upbringing. It still crosses my mind every now and then as bittersweet memory
Percy Bysshe Shelley
wait.... so pansy acts were kind of like the drag version of minstrel acts?
this is actually really cool, because my first women's haircut was a pixie cut. and learning about it being historically atleast in part seen as defying gender norms makes me feel more like I fit in.
ah! its proven, the only time a womans nagging can keep a man sane is in a bloody lighthouse!!!!
