If Villa get to Crystal Palace needing a victory to secure 4th AND they are in the Conference League final, that means they will have already secured at least Europa League by virtue of being in 5th in the PL. The Conference League final, then, will simply be about getting a trophy. And the Palace game will simply be about finishing 4th. Everyone keeps suggesting that Villa must make a choice and prioritize one result or the other. The only correct ambition, which Aston Villa has been consistenly pursuing all along, is to achieve both goals - win the Conference League trophy AND finish 4th in the PL and get Champions League football.
