@@simp4matt587 That literally means she’s straining…cracks only happen when you’re pushing your chest voice too high instead of mixing properly which is literally strain. Supported notes never crack.

@@Gievyji being out of breath doesn’t equate to strain. It’s obviously supported, plus the microphone might have affected the sound quality of her voice.

@@zeroc00k14 Well, it's not just about how wide the supported range is. The quality of the supported note should be taken into account. Haewon has better coordination and she has more fullness in her mix and mid range compared to Ningning and that is one of the reasons why Haewon is mid above average while Ningning is mid to high a-aa.

Btw, I know some people might disagree so please mind that this is my personal opinion. I just think that the C#5 note was actually resonant. If not, maybe I still have to improve my inner ear, hehe. Also, the last Eb5 note was actually fully supported and I think it’s close to resonance.

It was not resonance. We should not only fixated on it. We should be happy she can consistently support, open and sustained that high notes. Thats what really matter first for singer. Hope she can gain more improvement later.

This isn't resonant, just a nice bright vowel. There isn't enough roundness, the pharyngeal quality is missing. The distortion from the audio is just adding reverb.

@@Laxoinsry you can listen to Gfriend's Yuju's high noted during their rockie times. She has probably thr best resonance I have ever heard in Kpop. You can hear that her notes are literally completly open, full, balanced and naturally powerful. Another really good singer is Sohyang, or clasic Ailee Edit: Taeyeon also has amazing and consistent resonance

C#5 is definitely resonance since her openness begins to vibrate then passes to it's way in lasting effect and it's great to heart that . But her Eb5 here is not resonant.

I agree it's a nice note, it's openness but I can't hear what you say, the sound isn't amplified, and I disagree with the resonance of the online community at times, some notes are just making bright push aka Solar Mamamoo
@@renny6046 it's still lack this roudness and fullness, but yeah it's a bright vowel with minimal pushing ,not that far tho. I think this is one of the best open supported note she showcased it
