My quick and inexpensive method to prep for eyeshadow is just to wipe my powder puff pad from my pressed powder compact over my eyelids. I'm guessing this is common. Works for me.

Struggling to understand why you apply with a brush AND a blender. If you like the finish of a blender, apply with a blender. Don’t spend extra money on extra tools you don’t need.

i love makeup but i struggle with it a lot because any video i watch it doesn’t help. i use moisturiser and spf and i make sure my skin is clean but my makeup still looks cakey and it still seperates after a certain amount of time, please help.

I prefer to spot conceal (skip the brush) and just use a sponge applicator for a sheer natural base. A brush puts a thicker layer of product on the face and is great for camera ready makeup looks. 🥳
