The advantage the Katana has is speed and can slash and poke…. Rapier is the length to poke. The Katana can block it for sure…maybe even cut it in half at the right angle. Fencing takes too long and all you look at the point of rapier. I guess the best way to fight a rapier with a katana is block the sword down grab the shaft…and pull the swordsman close…

Well..katana guy has no face protection so you can already imagine than the reaper one is not even fighting. Look for other videos see a reaper master fighting, samurai died 2000 times already in duel. Katana may works better in a open battle against multiple opponents.

Ну и кроме того надо тогда самурая в доспехи одеть, а мушкетёру кроме рейтуз и холщового кафтана полагается только парик и гасконский гонор. И получается, что в данном случае, танцев туда-сюда ну никак не будет, а будет рывок от самурая и смерть "мушкетёра" с 99% вероятностью, поскольку на всё про всё у него будет один удар, а точно попасть в цель шпагой, когда на тебя несутся куча доспехов и острая катана крайне затруднительно. А пространство замкнутое, бежать особо некуда. На открытом же пространстве скорее победит "мушкетёр", поскольку там можно бегать " от забора и до обеда".
