Are we SURE Laura Owens isn't related to Lynette somehow? I still can't believe she does a self-help podcast with her mother. She is in desperate need of help that she doesn't seem to be getting. She has done the same thing to so many others.

I think the R claim in the sworn affidavit is another form of tactic. Sworn testimony is privileged and can’t usually be used in defamation cases. She can forever say “I swore and testified to X in a court why would I say it if it isn’t true” (much like her police reports/protective orders) but she won’t pursue criminal charges. People who actually look at the case will see she was caught perjuring herself(mostly about medical things) even if she never gets punished for it.

Great point Big Johnson! I've been waiting for someone else to point out that the medicine she takes is regularly prescribed as a mood stabilizer. I might be a skeptic but from the start I thought it was convenient she takes it for epilepsy caused by abuse rather than a mood disorder.

This is where the courts can "make a difference " I hope your honor respectfully of course, gets this woman the help she needs psychologically before she does something worse

I would never treat my body the way she has "if" I was pregnant. She did not get any medical care throughout her "pregnancy". My sons dad, who is also my husband, would have been angry at the least. The way you treat your fetus is the way you will treat your kids. She is neglectful and abusive.

Pregnancy fabrication Victims that we know of are Matt, Mike, Gregg and Clayton. Matt was in 2014

Fmr L&D RN, now doing civil litigation. I’ve watched this case since around Thanksgiving last year. She didn’t know her hearing last oct/Nov was being recorded. I’ve never seen a e woman in her last trimester and especially w/twins, stand without fidgeting or needing a pee break multiple times. She was very clever clawing she was pregnant w/twins as no genetic test existed to test for fetal DNA on twins. Within the last nine months, there is now a reliable genetic fetal DNA tests for twins. She alleged she provided three samples for testing; two never arrived at the genetic testing company and the third sample was going to be taken. Coincidentally, she quickly claimed she had miscarried, but there were no death certificates provided which would be the case if she was 20+ weeks pregnant. She also stated that she took pix of the stillborn and sent them to her sister as she was getting a new iPhone (?WTEff). Now that Clayton Eckard has counsel, the tide is turning against her, with Judge Mahta (?sp) ordering medrecs to be provided. We’ve also seen four men alleging a very similar fact pattern. I have never known a woman to get allegedly pregnant at least four times. As an epileptic, she would have a neurologist and OBs specializing in high risk pregnancies bcz of carrying twins and epilepsy. Her HcG levels were so low that it a little higher than baseline non-pregnant but nothing what would be expected when carrying twins. Also, none of her healthcare providers would have cleared her to ride horses due to the pressure of the twins on her cervix. She admitted she falsified her fetal US allegedly taken at Rancho Cordova as she wanted to be anonymous and that she then Photoshopped the SMIL identifying tag as the facility that Did provide the US. Then we may have Victim 0, a high profile person in San Francisco, where I live, that Owens tried and appears to have been successful in her extortion plan back in 2014. The case was sealed, so we’re only dealing with her depo statements, where she volunteered this info. This is a medically and legally a fascinating case. Thank you for covering it.
