The problem with the Nigerian government at all levels is the lack of transparency. A government has been in power for months, but it hasn't shared the specifics of its agenda with the people. We need a strategy to combat insurgency, terrorism, and poverty-induced lawlessness. Even if the government does not outrightly devolve powers to the states, it must coordinate with them in a tangible manner.
