Motion blur and gaps in object trail caused by slow shutter speed needed because of low light level. Out of focus because camera focal plane is narrow due to wide open lens aperture, again needed because of low light levels. Lights in the background are aircraft and or lights on tall structures like the wind turbines on the hills around Mach.

Insects are drawn to IR lighting, that was a bug flying around the light... The blinking light in the background? That was the "beam me up Scotty" beacon LOL

Training aircraft from RAF Valley, Anglesey i expect, if the camera is facing north.

It is an insect which is illuminated by the infra red light, but is close to the camera, so is out of focus. Because it is close, it makes it seem fast.

Moth. Plus lights over hills - I was pinged for solar flares and thus Aurora Borealis around that time. As it's in b&w, just saying.

Rods

The flashing lights over the distant hills look like the navigation lights on an aircraft or helicopter. Not far from the Mach Loop here, so could there be military training exercises going on, preparing for deployment to the Middle East? Who knows.

We get hedgehog legs, foxes, badgers, cats and mink on our camera. Mink look fun. Only once.

Telyn seems totally unconcerned! 😂

Very odd. I played it under slowest speed and the light does the same thing. What would light up like that under IR ?

The circling light in front of the camera looks like a moth to me, definitely doesn't look like a laser in my opinion. Lights along the side if that's also what you're referring to are possibly by the railway, maybe people working overnight? The flashing light in the background over the hill appears to be either a helicopter (police, air ambulance etc) or plane, frequently see this at night over the house.

Glow worm

The little beetle zapping about above the nest appears to be on speed. We've caught them on Beith's trailcams, as well as foxes, badgers and the occasional dog otter. The lights on the right seem to follow the railway. As to the flashing lights, choppers on night exercise?

It's an insect flying close to the camera. The infra red night vision lamp is lighting it up and overexposing the image on the camera so it looks much brighter than it should. Clearly not any type of aircraft as it's very close to the camera
