O violino se submete à Hilary, submisso!
The best!
Just close your eyes and it almost imagines the scenery for you.
I have also heard this piece referred to as the “Dance of the Knights”. Is there a distinction between the two or are they the same? If the same why multiple names?
My God, how wonderful this excerpt is! I keep listening on loop. Wonderful interpretation!
Hard choice and excellent, thank You.
Beautiful.
Brand new Piano Concerto No 2! With various styles such as Romantic, musical theatre, early Modern, Baroque pastiche, fugue, and even a rhumba! Hope to lift your Spring spirits krplus.net/bidio/YNuNiZaKhJm6h2k Thanks!

Il pianista ... suonato tutto senza spartito ...
Great work
profumo di rosa orientale
И всеже Tiesto-вский transition в Adagio for strings by S.Barber круче. Но вряд-ли возможно передать в достаточной степени на фа-но и без тех самых *strings*..
No independence of left and right hand. Typical.
Super cool!
Wonderfull, thanks!!!🍀🙏⚘️
Simplesmente ESPETACULAR!!!
We played this at contest in high school just before my Granny’s death. I could hear it playing at her funeral in my head. It’s been 40 years and I listen to it fondly now.
This woman represents the potential of humankind.
My wounded soul weeps for lost loves whose shadows walk no more, and their names are laid to rest on cold stones that bathe in the golden rays of God's eternal love.
Don't like this music, I'm sorry.
I’m surprised a sh!thole like Detroit has it’s own symphony
Totally agree, I feel like, why bother, I'm 68 and had serious depression issues for over 20 yrs. It's like nothing matters and there is no point to anything. Having made 3 serious attempts dating back to 1983 and last one 2021. This gorgeous music sums up the way I'm feeling now
Perfect ❤ very good
Спасибо, прослушав ваше исполнение, я стала счастливей, я не музыкант, просто любитель, мне 83 г и только сейчас услышала ЭТО, Спасибо!
Where was Brahms schooled?
❤
Caught Steve in DC today playing Billy Childs' new concerto and the whole scene was fabulous.
TwoSet would have us in stitches with this piece!

Eu não consigo tocar o Céu, pois sou menor do que um Grão de Areia, porém a Arte, se compadece de minha pequenez, e me remete ao Paraíso, desconhecido por mim, enquanto eu estou acorrentada em minhas misérias existenciais. A Arte é fundamental, pois a vida real não me basta. Que obra de Arte musical Divina. 🥲🌹
semka dziewczyna co u Ciebie z powrotu z Włoch? Dasz znać dla fanów 🤷🥺👌❤,?
9:37 it's jake and mike from state farm
Hillary my gosh…. BRAVO 👏
"I think now, looking back, we did not fight the enemy; we fought ourselves." from (Platoon)
genius xxx
1:19 is where the fun begins.
Whatever Hilary is being paid, it needs to be doubled!!! She is the finest violinist I've heard since I guest conducted the London Orchestra in 1937!!!
She’s paid 50 000$ per concert
The slow movement is sublime. Hilary Hahn does a good job but the benchmark imo is an old recording by Yehudi Menuhin
The philistine audience needs to be told at the start of the concert not to clap between movements. To not clap until the conductor turns around bows to the audience.
Just shows a lack of awareness from the audience
Be careful up there on your high horse. You might fall. For certain pieces I can see where you're coming from but as a violinist myself, I would take the appreciation and excitement of a crowd of "Philistines" over a hall full of stuffy, pompous farts who congratulate themselves for being in the know about modern day concert "etiquette." We need classical concerts to welcome all types of people in order for this music to survive, not be gatekept into obscurity as the music dies along with its remaining audience members.
The complete genius of Beethoven is clearly in evidence during this entire violin concerto. Love the piano version as well, musical entertainment at its absolute finest! Well done Hilary, you truly are world class, and so too are the entire orchestra!
This is an outstanding review of the relevant composers and compositions by Maestra Gallo. And the Detroit Symphony Orchestra is utterly fabulous! I'm in Tampa, and tomorrow night I will see Maestro Francis conduct Adams, Shostakovich, and Beethoven. Soooooo lucky, I am. Many thanks again for your education!
Cant imagine how he imagined such a somber yet gorgeous piece.
so lucky enjoying my cigar with such beautiful music
Desde Panamá me enamoró excelente, es brillante, exquisita ejecución
Quien es esta niña por Dios es excelente.
It hits me deep every time.
Take a moment to realize that Beethoven wrote this entire shit… and there’s more where that came from… different level bro
