Get a class T fuse for the batteries. Lithium can output so much current it can bridge and fuse other fuse styles. Also its a good thing to have a disconnect for the batteries.

I am so glad Electrical Code decided to color code different gauges of wires it makes spotting problems on video so much easier.

8:55 I hope that's not a 40 amp breaker. That wiring is only rated for 20A. This won't be a problem on the inverter since that will probably overload and go out on safety however your incoming connection can theoretically be 30A.

A DC-DC charger between the alternator and house batteries will stop the key on draw.

Never use solid wire in a moving vehicle - bad idea - esp. with potetially lethal 120V at 16A ... (and don't run any cable without an insulating conduit moreover in a full metal cabin) No one should do it the way shown here - even on a budget.

**READ THIS** We are always learning as we go, often times the comments help guide us or catch safety issues. Theres an issue with this system with too high of amp RV style input (30A), a 40A breaker and romex that is only rated for 20A. We're still learning, this is my first time ever working with romex, and using that gauge wire isnt safe. We will be fixing this in the next camper truck episode!

The other thing I'm hoping you have done because otherwise you will create a big fire if you have not put that on a charge controller cuz the charge controller will control the batteries in other words you will put the 12 volt input from your alternator into the charge controller in the charge controller will prevent overcharging of your lithium ion batteries have you ever charged lithium ion batteries they will explode and catch on fire

By the way you need a battery isolator if you're going to charge from your alternator on your vehicle this will allow you to flip it's basically a large High amperage solenoid the basically connects your batteries once the vehicle is started make sure that it is once your vehicle is started and not before your vehicle it started because this will create problems is there a dissimilar batteries it will also create a problem

Absolutely F"in amazing build and video. I have so many questions. LOL. The main question is will this ever be for sale or will you make more for sale? The '19 is almost 4 inches wider. How did you steal 4 inches? Maybe part of that is just extra space for the '19 mirrors? So maybe you are just 2" difference and you could cut out enough inner body to make that work?

Those breakers should be 20 amp if that’s 12 wire. Also should have a battery isolator under the hood to separate the front and rear batteries.
