I just remember the impact that after seeing nothing but the Spartans kill everything thrown at them and not being shown taken losses, seeing Spartans being taken down with the dark color palette really set the tone. The way this movie was made and styled was great. Damn the historical innacuracies, it was based on a comic book...NOT THE ACTUAL event. and Snyder hit it out of the park.

This is one of those scenes that is cool but I have a hard time with the conceit that the lift vehicle doesn't seem to have any redundancy - just one anchor fails and they can't lift the crawler? Given the time sensitivity and risk associated with failure, you'd think they'd design extra anchors to prevent such mishaps.

... how you can't fight someone moving backwards in time... a being moving in actuated universal entropy can only emulate reverse momentum... they can't create it... in this situation, I could only imagine my mind being blown while I was fighting for my life... Damn. This movie is one of my favourites. Thank you Christopher Nolan, and all of the talented team that worked on this.
