Welcome to the Jollyville Screech Owl House, home to a wild and free female eastern screech owl and her family. Olivia lives in this house from September through May. She and her partner Alton raise their babies in the box in the spring. When the owlets fledge, the parents spend the summer teaching them to fly and hunt. At the end of the summer, they send the owlets out on their own and Olivia comes home.

The noises I just heard outside my house at around 11:00 made me look up screech owls, I believe this is what I heard, I think there were 2. And I though my animals were being murdered when I heard the noises, but all is well. Scary noises though.

Heard that for the first time last week in my back yard...Then a couple nights later, heard it again. Such a unique sound!
Finally!!! My wife and I have a new owl in the area but never could see what was making the noise until the other night, we narrowed it down to an owl. Now we think it’s a screech owl making these exact calls. We have two in the area as of the other night, possible these are mating calls?
I wouldn’t call that a screech. I have a bird in the woods behinds us that actually screeches..loudly. I don’t know what it is, but it is LOUD!

Oh my god, one of these just flew over me and landed on a branch. Then started to screech just like this. Very freaky at 3 in the morning to hear!!
fuck owls one of them killed my fucking cat I wish they would all go extinct I tried so hard but with no luck to try to kill the owl and every and any owl near my house not only that they're spawns from hell and their appearance without any feathers proves it
If you talk about Hell and Eden do not forget that only people were driven from Eden. Plants, animals as fallen angels were sent from Eden to help stupid people. There are not any creature from Hell on Earth. Earth without people would be better. If you are atheist you are sinless, soulless nothing sacred etc. You know a theorem from Scientific Communism : there are not people there are not problems. If zero headcount of people is achieved then all problems of people are solved. Earth without people is better.
