Ok, I am a rock fan, so much so I HATE the pop scene. But I've recently realized what the buzz about Gaga is all about. I've been to hundreds of concerts and shows and she by far is one of the best performers I've ever seen. And actually, she's not pop. She's post-modern; she does it all.

I think I get the weird costume at the beginning. It keeps her afloat (the floaties) in the industry making pop music and typical stuff, yada yada, but its also suffocating her, and Artpop frees her mind and releases it. Pretentious? Maybe, but theres gotta be a reason she wore it.
How can a #1 album be a flop? That's just bs people said. "Applause" to me is "Bad Romance's" sister song. It's got that same excitement and feel. And wasn't that the smash hit of the Joanne tour? I think so. It sure sent chills up my spine. Very exciting. And I think "swine" is one of her best songs. And "Aura" freezes my spirit. And I got this thing for "Fashion". Well, it's just a great collection of songs, and has a lot of feel of born this way album to me.

10 years of artpop. i have to admit this performance was chaotic but it reminds me - and i think i speak for a lot of us here- of a beautiful time of my life. 2013 was a good year for pop music. brave projects like Artpop must be recognized just like Impossible Princess by Kylie Minogue or Ray of Light by Madonna. Maybe they were not successful or "good" but they were BRAVE AF!

Watching this is so bittersweet because I feel her pain I think she was going through alot of mental anguish at this time but the music. And performances were still amazing she gives her all just like beyonce does they leave their soul on that stage artpop was a great album and deserved much more but I think sometimes certain things don't connect with the wider public and that's fine also as her fans are enjoying it :)
