The trailers and marketing have made it pretty obvious that the grandmother was in a cult of some sorts, but there are more twists to it than that?

Thank you. love analyzing trailers and studying the hidden details in movies. The marketing for Hereditary has been wonderful at showing alot yet not explaining too much. Thank you for the response. Its pretty obvious that the grandmother was in a cult, but another thing I have noticed throughout all of the trailers and videos is what appears to be a mysterious light flare. In the first trailer, we saw it traveling through a hallway at a school, transform Annie's face into Charlie's, and being displayed across the logo at the end. In this trailer we see it awaken Peter in the form of a projection of Annie telling him to wake up and then dissipating. I'm not sure what to make of this, but perhaps the family could have inherited some sort of supernatural powers or could it be tied to the necklace Annie wears?
Does the movie have got something to do with religion or religious rituals? People are comparing this movie to the exorcist..

why is it that the best trailer for this film is an auto play youtube ad, i cant find it as a stand alone video. there is one particular trailer of this that is a masterpiece of all trailers, best i have ever seen in the imagery, tone, music/trailer score and vocal aspects. all these other ones are just like normal movie trailers, its so frustrating
well i mean to be fair they are all pretty well put together trailers in the atmosphere and psychological impression they create in a one minute video

Пора говорить ПРЯМО. ВСЁ ИСКУССТВО: КИНО, ТЕАТР, МУЗЫКА, КНИГИ, ПОЭЗИЯ , имеет ИСКЛЮЧИТЕЛЬНО ДВА ГЛОБАЛЬНЫХ СМЫСЛА , либо служит ПРОСЛАВЛЕНИЮ БОЖЬЕГО СЛОВА , либо дьяволу. Служить БОЖЬЕМУ СЛОВУ это значит , каждым КАДРОМ, РЕПЛИКОЙ, КУПЛЕТОМ и т.п. "ПРИВОДИТЬ" НАС, ЗРИТЕЛЕЙ, СЛУШАТЕЛЕЙ к ПОКАЯНИЮ, СПАСЕНИЮ ДУШИ, и соответственно наоборот, максимально удалять от него.
МЕРЗКОЕ сатанинское КИНО. А ПОЧЕМУ нужно ПОНИМАТЬ следующее. Ну во ПЕРВЫХ. ВСЁ где упоминается в фильме О БОГЕ ЭТО обычное БОГОХУЛЬСТВО(ХУЛА на ДУХА СВЯТОГО). НО БОГА ОБИДЕТЬ НЕ ВОЗМОЖНО. ОН БЕССТРАСТЕН. А вот ХУЛА ЕГО это БОЛЬШОЙ ГРЕХ. А ГРЕХ это РАНА которую человек наносит прежде всего сам СВОЕЙ ДУШЕ . РАНА которая ОТКРЫВАЕТ ДУШУ ДЛЯ ДЕМОНОВ мучителей, БЕСОВ ПОРОЧНЫХ СТРАСТЕЙ, слуг дьявола. И во ВТОРЫХ. ФИЛЬМ очень опасная ДЬЯВОЛЬСКАЯ НАСМЕШКА. А ПОЧЕМУ. Дело в том что САМ ФИЛЬМ есть ничто иное как СКРЫТОЕ НАВЯЗЫВАНИЕ КОЛДОВСТВА И всякой прочей подобной БЕСОВЩИНЫ. И тут же в фильме ПОКАЗАНО ЧТО МОЖЕТ БЫТЬ с людьми, но уже в реальной жизни, ЕСЛИ ПРЕЛЬСТИТЬСЯ всем этим. А ТАКЖЕ такие фильмы снимается специально, чтобы напугать зрителей, а ТРУСОСТЬ ЭТО порочная страсть(ГРЕХ) , И С помощью БЕСА СТРАХА, В ДУШУ зрителей могут ВОЙТИ уже более СИЛЬНЫЕ ДУХИ(ДЕМОНЫ), и подчинить себе полностью волю человека, вплоть до того как показано в фильме в одном из кадров на примере сына, когда у него сама согнулась рука и он ударил себя лицом о парту. И вот как БЫЛО БЫ ХОРОШО, ЧТОБЫ КАЖДЫЙ зритель ПОНИМАЛ это, и никогда не смотрел подобные фильмы. НО это очень «тонкие» моменты, ПОНЯТЬ которые МОЖНО будет ТОЛЬКО ЧИТАЯ, И ГЛАВНОЕ, ИЗУЧАЯ КНИГУ ЖИЗНИ, СВЯТОЕ ЕВАНГЕЛИЕ. И также надо ПОНИМАТЬ что КОЛДОВСТВО это очень серьезный ГРЕХ. И ЕСЛИ всё же человек ОСОЗНАЛ это И решил принести БОГУ своё ПОКАЯНИЕ(на ИСПОВЕДИ) за это, то его, ТЕМ НЕ МЕНЕЕ, НЕ ДОПУСКАЮТ ДО ПРИЧАСТИЯ СВЯТЫХ ХРИСТОВЫХ(самое ГЛАВНОЕ ТАИНСТВО ИСТИННОГО ХРИСТИАНИНА) В ТЕЧЕНИИ 6(ШЕСТИ) ЛЕТ.
Да и ПОРОЧНЫЕ СТРАСТИ это ГОРДЫНЯ, ТЩЕСЛАВИЕ, ЛУКАВСТВО, СЕБЯЛЮБИЕ, ТРУСОСТЬ, ЧЕЛОВЕКОУГОДИЕ, ЗАВИСТЬ, ЖАДНОСТЬ, ОСУЖДЕНИЕ, АЛЧНОСТЬ, СКУПОСТЬ, СРЕБРОЛЮБИЕ, ЛИЦЕМЕРИЕ, ЧРЕВОУГОДИЕ, ГНЕВ, РЕВНОСТЬ, ВОРОВСТВО, РАЗДРАЖЕНИЕ, ВЛАСТОЛЮБИЕ, ПОХОТЬ, ЛЮБОПЫТСТВО, ПЬЯНСТВО, КУРЕНИЕ, ПРЕЛЮБОДЕЯНИЕ, ОБИДЧИВОСТЬ, ЗАСТЕНЧИВОСТЬ, ХИТРОСТЬ и т.д. и т.п. И у КАЖДОГО ЧЕЛОВЕКА своя(СТРАСТЬ), так сказать, ЛИЧНАЯ. И ЭТО всё БОЛЕЗНИ, но БОЛЕЗНИ ДУХОВНОГО ПЛАНА.

После, БОГ одел их в «одежды» что значит в тела, и ДАЛ ЗАПОВЕДЬ «ПЛОДИТЕСЬ и РАЗМНОЖАЙТЕСЬ» и заселяйте Землю. НО для размножения, В ПОЛОВЫЕ ОТНОШЕНИЯ ПРИХОДИЛОСЬ ВСТУПАТЬ БРАТУ С СЕСТРОЙ. И ЭТО было вызвано необходимостью а НЕ ПОХОТЬЮ . И ВОТ ПОЧЕМУ КАЖДЫЙ рождающийся ребёнок уже ГРЕШЕН. Только не физическое(физическое если вызвано похотью), а так называемое ПЕРВОРОДНОЕ (ДУХОВНОЕ , ПРИЧИНА которого ГРЕХОПАДЕНИЕ) ПОВРЕЖДЕНИЕ(ГРЕХ, ПОРОЧНАЯ СТРАСТЬ) НА КАЖДОМ человеке при рождении. И У КАЖДОГО человека своя СОБСТВЕННАЯ СТРАСТЬ. И ЭТО БОЛЕЗНИ , но БОЛЕЗНИ прежде всего ДУХОВНОГО ПЛАНА. И именно ПОРОЧНЫЕ СТРАСТИ людей являются ПРИЧИНОЙ ВСЕХ БЕД, СТРАДАНИЙ, и РАЗРУШИТЕЛЬНЫХ ДЕЙСТВИЙ на Земле. А вот условия ОСВОБОЖДЕНИЯ от этого ПЕРВОРОДНОГО ГРЕХА(ПОВРЕЖДЕНИЯ, СТРАСТИ) как раз и ЗАПИСАНЫ в КНИГЕ ЖИЗНИ, СВЯТОМ ЕВАНГЕЛИЕ. СНАЧАЛА в мир БЫЛ "ПОСЛАН" для этого СЫН БОЖИЙ ИИСУС ХРИСТОС(имя ИИСУС кстати означает СПАСИТЕЛЬ). Но ЕГО за это РАСПЯЛИ. Но ОСТАЛОСЬ СВЯТОЕ ЕВАНГЕЛИЕ. Вот ЭТО и есть БОЖЕСТВЕННЫЕ УСЛОВИЯ , во первых ИЗБАВЛЕНИЯ ОТ ПЕРВОРОДНОГО ГРЕХА(а правильней сказать от ПОВРЕЖДЕНИЯ), И во вторых ДЛЯ СПАСЕНИЯ ДУШИ человеческой, ПОЛУЧЕНИЯ ЖИЗНИ ВЕЧНОЙ для ДУШИ, ПОСЛЕ физической СМЕРТИ тела , В ЦАРСТВИЕ НЕБЕСНОМ.
И поэтому ИСТИННАЯ ВЕРА В БОГА, в первую очередь ЗАКЛЮЧАЕТСЯ В «БОРЬБЕ» каждого ЧЕЛОВЕКА, ПРИ ЗЕМНОЙ ЖИЗНИ, СО своими собственными ПОРОЧНЫМИ СТРАСТЯМИ, И только ТАК можно получить СПАСЕНИЕ для своей ДУШИ.
Ну И ЕСЛИ каждый человек захочет "БОРОТЬСЯ" СО своими ПОРОЧНЫМИ СТРАСТЯМИ , ТО для начала, НУЖНО ПОВЕРИТЬ В БОГА, ПРЕСВЯТУЮ ТРОИЦУ: ОТЦА(СОЗДАТЕЛЯ ВСЕГО ЖИВОГО И НЕ ЖИВОГО, ВИДИМОГО мира и НЕ ВИДИМОГО), СЫНА(ИИСУСА ХРИСТА), СВЯТОГО ДУХА.
А ЧТОБЫ "ПРИЙТИ" к БОГУ или ПОЗНАТЬ БОГА необходимо ПОКАЯНИЕ.
Ну А для того ЧТОБЫ ПОНЯТЬ ВСЁ что написано выше , И для ИСКРЕННЕГО ХРИСТИАНСКОГО ПОКАЯНИЯ, которое необходимо УСПЕТЬ(потому что ВРЕМЕНИ осталось очень МАЛО, ВОЗМОЖНО даже примерно 10 МЕСЯЦЕВ, И ВСЁ(смотри СВЯТОЕ ЕВАНГЕЛИЕ от МАТФЕЯ, ГЛ. 24)) СДЕЛАТЬ при ЗЕМНОЙ ЖИЗНИ ЧЕЛОВЕКА, ПЕРВЫМ "шагом" БУДЕТ (и как об этом уже упоминалось выше) ЧТЕНИЕ и ГЛАВНОЕ, ИЗУЧЕНИЕ КНИГИ ЖИЗНИ, СВЯЩЕННОГО ПИСАНИЯ НОВЫЙ ЗАВЕТ. ✋🏻
