HONEST REACTION to IU - 'Autumn morning (가을 아침)'

As a Korean, there are many very Korean expressions in the lyrics of this song. But I think the English translation didn't express it well🥲

Whenever autumn comes, we should listen this song. Because there’s a wind in her voice, it makes me feel an autumnal chill in the air.

“Autumn Morning” is a hit song by “the godmother of Korea’s folksongs” Yang Hee Eun that was released in 1991. IU’s remake was arranged and produced by Jung Sung Ha, along with musician Ha Rim playing the teen whistle for added analog sentiments.

This is one of my favorites IU songs, cause of its gentle tempo and sound you can easily fall asleep

This songs really makes me like want to give all my respect to IU's voice and confidence to be able to release a intro acapella song. Its rare that singers or artist have such a perfect control of their voice and pitch they can go off and sings as good as this without any instrumental guidelines

I remember the moment the song was released. it was in the morning in autumn like the title of the song. I was on the way to work. The song made the day different from others. It was so nice and special.

-released as a suprise, with minimal promo, on 7 KST in the morning (unusual release time). However, its still get Perfect All Kill.
-this is a remake of old song ( as part of her remake album: A Flower Bookmark 2, 2017), originally a korean folks by Yang Hee Eun. Thats why that lyrics is so folk-ish and a bit weird (in standard kpop lyrics).
-this is her autumn zombie song, means this song will crawl back to chart every autumn. She also has spring zombie ( Not Spring Love or Cherry Blossom) and Christmas Carol zombie ( Merry Xmas in Advance) ....

dear Aaron, I know its your concept to "face" the song blindly and react as "first" try ...
but this is IU, a legendary act (AND a very unique one!) with deep context in her songs and lyrics. I think its much better if you try to learn at least 10-20% abt the song's history if you want to react an old IU song.

As a Korean, I always feel sad that there is a limit to translating Korean lyrics into English.
