Unfortunately that just doesnโt sell on TV. Maybe it did at one time but โentertainmentโ these days is all about conflict, whether itโs war, politics or petty celeb drama.

@@dimentioo I understand that, but she probably felt she could remain consistent in order to (a) stay in character so the scenes were more โbelievableโ and (b) avoid getting sued because that was โjust her characterโ and the moms โshouldโve known what they had signed up forโ. Itโs terrible to say but thatโs probably the truth.

I totally agree about Kendall. I girl literally had it all but just didn't take it all the way. I was so excited when she came in season 2 I thought for sure she was going to blow everyone out of the water. There were a few dances were you see glimpses out what she could have been but that's it.
Maybe there's a reason for that, aka the very toxic and unhealthy environment that was dance moms.
@@jodack3931 Oh you mean the show that her mother chose to sign her up for knowing exactly what it was like? The show that they chose to continue to stay on for years? Elements of the show were definitely a percentage of the problem. But the main problems that held her back still would have been there. With or without being on the show. You can see it in her first episode. Sets the tone for the rest of her seasons on the show. Not much ends up changing.
I see the point youโre trying to make but nobody knew what the show was going to exactly be like when they signed up for it. Jill and the rest of the moms canโt predict the future so how could they have possibly known that Kendall would be involved in a toxic environment? Iโm pretty sure thatโs the main thing that held her back.

Maesi and her mom have said the reason they didn't accept the season 8 contract was because the pay wasn't enough to cover their travel costs, but I hate she wasn't able to do it. She was probably my favorite going in, and I think she would have added a ton to the group.
Maesi has given several reasons for why she didnโt want to return. She was also recovering from a back injury and have an ordinary high school experience.

I think vivi is still dancing because she didnโt do it constantly like the other girls. She didnโt get burned out, it was just for fun for her.

Interesting to hear that it was the other girls that rocked Brynnโs confidence. I had no idea that was something that went on with her. However, it seems like that confidence is somewhat returning nowadays as her dancing is really something great.
That was the thing that made Bynn different from the other girls in my opinion. She was honestly treated really well by Abby and didn't have that tough experience with Abby that the other OG girls had. In fact, I think Abby favored Brynn a little. However, Brynn was torn down a lot on the show by some of the girls and by a lot of the moms. I think the moms hated that Brynn just came in and was one of the better dancers.
I would NOT believe thing that comes out of her mouth.
People that have met them did say there was some mean behavior going on... so I don't find that hard to believe

@@fungyinyuk1802 Iโm not sure what happened between them. Sarah was the only s8 kid who stayed at the aldc after the show, and she competed with them for a season. But since then sheโs switched studios twice.

Sooo sad that Kalani isn't pursuing dance full-time. I can only imagine how hard it is to keep your love of dance after so much reality TV. It must be weird to go into a dance studio and never get to really be 'anonymous.' To have to deal with nasty comments and judgments and comparisons, etc. I probably might quit myself! And Kalani does post dancing stuff still. But she's just so talented I would love to see her teaching, or offering online classes, choreographing and collabing with other dancers in LA.. Her talent is incomparable

I think Asia's negative point was she kept singing on stage with the song so a lot of people was probably looking at her lip sync to the song instead of paying attention to her dancing
I barely noticed half the time she was lip synching. Her dancing personality grabbed my attention.
I would have said her versatility. Abby likes employable dancers and while Asia excelled at jazz/funk because of her attitude, I don't think she was good at much else.
Yes but that was distracting which helped hide technical issues.

@@danismith3112 she wasnโt just watch MackZBozz Abby invited her to the show on s3 and even says in another video about the moms that she tried to get Jeanette onto the show plenty of times. So no it wasnโt because of Jeannette it was solely on the way Abby treated her.

Iโm glad I randomly stumbled upon this. Itโs nice to see Abby not within the dance moms show (only watched the show this year beginning to end) I really appreciated her teaching methods (tough love but pointing out technique skills) but think it was overdramatized and made ugly by TV editing. Maybe Iโm weird but when someone paid me more attention even yelling at me I became more motivated to prove myself right than if they just praised me continuously

Hey hey!!!! I just have to say this is by far my absolute favorite video so far!! I know Iโve said that before but they just keep getting better and better. Just hearing the truth about how you really feel about all of them shows the real Abby Lee. The producers made you out something so opposite of who you really are!!
