Shawn Johnson is and has always been in great shape! She's a solid block of muscle and the reason she gained just a little weight was because she wasn't working out like she was in the Olympics. But a little more weight doesn't make you fat! 50 pounds makes u fat not 10 or 15. And if nobody else noticed she dropped all the weight by 2011 anyways...

Actually, gymnasts who are under proper training and eating habits as Shawn Johnson always has been do not starve themselves. They actually consume more calories (of the proper foods) to help them have the energy they need and to keep their fitness levels up.

People that short tend to still have the bone thickness and stature of a regular person, hence why dwarfs seem squat instead of just proportionally smaller. Also, she has been training for several hours a day, every single day since she was five. Training like that requires high caloric intake with a high metabolism. So, when she took a break from training she gained some weight.
That's not fat, that's called muscle people, stop being cruel! Are you intentionally trying to cause a beautiful young athlete to develop an eating disorder? Come on, where's your compassion!
