I am a 63-year-old Marine Corps veteran who literally hates rap, however, I saw this video and couldn't stop watching. For some reason, I was getting into it. It is so filled with truth and accuracy. As the song says, It's not your America. This is my country as well as yours. Let's keep it that way.

You, sir, were 11 when I was born. That most likely means when I was 8 you were in country while I was running around on the Drill Floor at my dad's Army Reserve unit center. (Dad was WWII Europe, 150th Infantry 1942-45).
Years later, I served on that same Drill Floor in the 321st Ordnance Battalion, DS/GS. Thanks to you and your comrades, I am now 63 and still have never been in a combat zone. Thank you and welcome home.

Yes! We play Tom’s songs with our kids and talk about it. Kids are finding out this stuff at school and social media so we need to show them the truth and that there are good people to look up to still. They love Tom MacDonald, Tyson James (and we’re not even Christian), Samson, and their music is having a positive effect on them. They love our country and aren’t afraid to stand up for what’s right.

I have experienced something beautiful in the comments earlier, a disabled vet shared his feelings, ( disheartening) Our Country made him feel hated. The Beauty was all the responses back to him, respect, Love, acknowledgement for his service and the ( thank you) that to some didn't feel like enough. People came out in support of his fight for our GREAT COUNTRY and the person he is. Adam and Tom your spoken TRUTHS are connecting people on here through POWERFUL WORDS. Holding each other up. I just read through the same comments you mentioned. It's crazy how our Vets have broken bodies and many with broken minds. They fought for the country and ALL Americans yet were left out to dry.
No mission, the brotherhood left behind, a bland life where it's hard for them to move forward. Thank God for those that do care. Respect for all of the businesses and non profits who get charity money to the Vets through training/schooling/house remodels for the disabled, excursions and retreats, etc!
It's beyond comprehension to me how anyone who has been afford the freedoms that our service members have secured with thier blood. Can not be but thankful and grateful for the gift they have given us. They don't fight for our country, they fight for a belief that is far more powerful then any one country. And that there is what makes them heros. Our Vets need to be supported first and foremost over all other. Only people respect is giving without question all others need to earn it. Thank God I not only found this music, and these people but also the comment sections. Thousands of voices echoing all my feeling and thoughts. I need that, my mental health needed this.
