the thing with twice's choreographies are that most of them aren't PARTICULARLY difficult to learn, but they are INCREDIBLY hard to master. like the steps are some of the most iconic and memorable, and aren't even too hard to actually do a lot of the time, so it's easy to pick up a lot of the choreo, but what twice dances always have are small little details that have to be done perfectly. and they always match the vibe PERFECTLY. they are queens of concepts. alcohol free is the perfect example of pretty easy choreo that's incredibly difficult to pull off well

Yes!! Everyone here saying Alcohol-free is easy, is not the hardest of all but it's difficult, and very tiring! It's a 3:30 minutes song.
most ppl could do it but could not exude the same vibe as Twice did. As an example the drunk dance in AF on most dance covers are too 'hard' or 'strong' and didn't show the drunkness of the choreo like it's supposed to

Everyone can learn the movements , but no one can dance with the fit and strength of Twice .. Moving their bodies is really unique and cannot be imitated .. Twice's dances are always harder than other groups except for TT, Knock Knock, Signal. Their syncronization are best.
Signal is very fast and Knock Knock uses a lot of isolation which is hard to synchronize. It might not be exhausting to dance but difficult to learn

Twice's dance skill improves significantly since debut. The choreography gets more and more complicated after DTNA. If you look closely, members' arms are more muscular compared with early years. Some members gain quite bit of size with their thighs. This shows that they have practised massively for quite intensive moves.
More and more was the first twice dance that I learned because I thought it was so cool. Also that song made me a fan. It truly has a powerful choreography

Perfect world
As someone who’s danced for 16 years, I would make a few changes to this. Signal is definitely easier than Alcohol-free. While Signal may require more energy to dance, Alcohol-free has a lot of details with the arms. Additionally, Fancy should be behind DTNA. Fancy has a lot of great transitions and sharp movements that make the dance look much harder than it actually is to learn. DTNA again has a lot of hidden details and the end part is pretty difficult to execute well.
These choroegraphies by themselves can be learnt with some dedication, hard work and constant practice as I can do most of these including more and more, icsm, fancy and feel special. But flawlessly executing them with such grace and energy while staying synchronised is the impossible part. Twice is really amazing makes me proud I Stan them

Idk why many people downgraded twice and always saying their choreo is 'too easy'. Actually it's just some of them (like tt), and also they're so in sync i love it
In my experience as a dancer, Feel Special has a much more difficult choreography than I CAN’T STOP ME and many of the moves in Feel Special require really good control and technique even all the way down to the fingers. The formations and travelling also gets really tiring whereas ICSM has much more basic moves, but paired with singing is definitely the hardest. Then again we’re talking about the difficulty, so I would gove no. 2 to Feel Special.

Ae is clearly looking at dancing at the chorus and not the whole dance itself (for most of the video). Knock knock is easier then tt because of the simplified dancing: the twirls and foot movements make it pretty easy to perfect.
JYPE is known as the company with best choreographies.

I hate how Twice's dances are often labeled as easy when IT'S NOT
I think what they meant to say was that the dances are easy compared to other twice dances. People can say TT and Cheer up is easy, but thats based on the other songs Twice has. They are easier compared to others.

plus they are a 9 members group, the transition, the synchronization and the up and down of the choreo will be much harder than doing solo at certain part of a song.
It's also hard to convey the same vibe as Twice did like when they did happy song, it really looked bubbly and happy and made the viewers happier too, and if it's to convey the drunkness of being in love like Alcohol Free, their grooves are really on point and convey the song's meaning perfectly.
