AKMU really are the first idol group I can think of that appeals to all generations.
+Ashley F Because they're not idols, but are only under a big kpop company. They were real musicians way before debuting and entered a competition based on talent and won.

Ashley F Idols are people recruited by and trained by a company for months to years and debut under said company. They may or may not have any musical or performance skills at all when they are recruited (and may be recruited solely based on looks lol), thus one of the reasons for a long training period. Moreover, an idol's image is very important and companies know cultivating an idol's personality or image well so that fans follow their idols closely is a good business strategy. Pretty much everything they've learned professionally, everything they do, and the kind of songs they perform are handled by the company. AKMU's Chanyeol, on the other hand writes his own songs, and YG lets him do it because he is good at it. Also, their image was something they already made for themselves, not what YG decided for them.

+iamsyerah Actually,akmu did this kind of concept before,If you remember Play album.The first the did is,Running to the forest,Drink galaxy water also alot of tree,Seem like,both of them are ghost child who lost at the jungle,die and happily living there..That's more creepy..lol..They do it for this time,but more to symbolic of childhood also spring theme..So YG give them properly now..mybe he find this more creative to present akmu..

Yes! I've been so excited for this! Akmu is an amazing group. This teaser got me even more hype!! It looks fantasy like which I love! Music and feel/vibe of the video remind me of Harry Potter. I'm so going to love this!! I hope they win lots of awards and top the charts because they deserve. It would be so nice for them to get an All-Kill right before Chanhyuk's military duty as well.
