Inside Miami’s deadly plastic surgery industry | Fault Lines Documentary

- In this episode of Fault Lines, we look into Florida’s cosmetic surgery industry, which has made national headlines for its high incidence of patient death and disfigurement, especially with regard to the extremely popular Brazilian butt lift (BBL) surgeries.
The Florida Board of Medicine has spent years trying to place guardrails on the industry, particularly with regard to BBL surgeries, but our investigation reveals a pattern of surgeons engaging in unsafe practices and lobbying lawmakers to allow them to continue doing so.

Thank You.
I'm just praying for 🌍🙈🕯️🕯️🕯️☦️🫀
society is SO superficial nowadays.... I would never have plastic surgery, I am a little overweight too. But thats quite normal when you are over 50, looks are not all that matters! I didnt pick my best friends for their looks, but for their good hearts!
There's no refund for your life you fool!
If these "cheap " doctors did the math, they could hire an Anesthesiologist, charge 3 times more, and only do two a day like a reputable surgeon. (instead of 8 a day lol/WOW-eye opening in regards to a Good plastic surgeon, compared to one in a Mall)
A surgery that nobody needs, but everybody wants. What a time we're living...
Yes, it’s a crazy time we are living in. My sister who has eating disorders since 30 years, is thin like pencil but had a beauty operation done 7 years ago. She had some kind of a ballon inserted into her stomach so she will eat less. But my sister already hardly eats anything since she’s a teenager. I have no idea what doctor gave her that operation. 🤷🏻♀️ My sister actually needs to see a psychologist to help her. Oh wait, she’s a psychologist herself. 🙈
I personally don't like the look. I have a butt and would give anything to get rid of it.
Not everyone there's a lot of us still out here that loves our natural body
@@FaithandNova yes I’m happy with my body...
@@SN-bl6xm wow 😯, you just couldn’t make that up, so many plot twists. Whoever gave your sister that surgery should be struck off.
I don’t have butt, boobs, not pretty but not ugly. But I have the confidence and self esteem. If nobody likes me, it doesn’t matter. As long as I love myself.
Exactly ❤
Having no butt and boob is definitely more attractive body then those obvious fake and unnatural BBL people try to deny about. Nothing is more attractive and beautiful then the body the God has given her !!!
Yessssss 💯❤
Well done. Be and Live your life the way you want to not the way the others want you to be or live
I love your attitude.
I'm from Brazil and no, women are not all curvy here. All women have their particularities and beauties. We need to love ourselves more and put less faults. We need to feed better and let go of sedentary lifestyle. I am VERY happy to see a documentary of this type. All women should watch this video.
Why not the men that pay for it and or thirst after these women?
Have you heard that there are things that cannot be fixed with diets and exercise?? Like, androgynous body shape, fat concentration on tissues, thyroid gland disfunction…and so much more!🤦🏻♀️
Doesn’t mean ppl don’t love themselves. We do it for the same reason you go to the gym. Vanity. We are all vain. Maybe surgery is another level but let’s not act like girls who wear makeup and wigs are different in mindset. Vainity! Surgery is a bigger risk but you all are vain! No one be on the gym talking bout yeeeeeessss let’s go low blood sugar or low cholesterol 😂yall be like let’s get summer time fine. We are all vain so stop acting like there’s a huge gap
Yes, you are so right.
So sad, woman are so Hard to themselves.
Beauty comes in so many ways....
Love and best wishes
🙏✨️😊
As a surgeon myself I am appalled by some people’s lack of responsibility and awareness. We are first and foremost obligated to our patients safety and well-being. These surgeons shouldn’t be allowed to be in an OR ever again.
Alex Campbell in Colombia cartagena allows 9 month pregnant 🤰 woman perform surgery on a belgium patient without the knowledge of the patient! Patient had to undergo 3 surgeries to remove the butchered surgery by his 9 month pregnant carolina restrepo!!!!!!!!!!@@@@
Thank you Doctor! So succint and totally correct!
Indeed. Primum non nocere.
$$$$$$$$$
Hearing that woman talk about going in for her own BBL one week after her friend died as a result of the same surgery because “there’s no refund” gives new meaning to the phrase “your money or your life.” So sad. It could very well have been her money AND her life.
Vanity basically.
She said she’s addicted to the surgery like ppl get addicted to gambling. Makes sense. You don’t care about anything but what you want. And for her it’s the perfect body.
More like the prefect definition of a moron
I bet that’s not the last one she goes for. 😅
Whew, I said what?!” Out loud cause that’s crazy
“I’m gambling with my body to get the perfect body,” she says with a smile. As if she didn’t see her friend in a casket smh
that was soooooo cringy to watch and like WTF is wrong with you?? its literally insane that your friend dying didnt shake u up, and her laughing about her addiction like its funny was weird. sick
it’s actually sick
Stupid is as Stupid does...
Very sick smh
In my opinion, she sounded nuts when she said it's an addiction.
I'm a woman with a VERY imperfect body. 4 kids and I'm not skinny at all. But I'm glad I'm alive and accept my imperfections ❤
Aging gracefully and evolving into a kind and comfortable person to be around when you are older is an incredibly wonderful place to be. People are relieved to be around people who are real. It’s not comfortable being around people who are obviously terrified of getting older and worry constantly about what people think. That’s a really superficial person.
Our imperfections make us individuals why do women all, want to look the same , we are who we are and are all beautiful with our imperfections and individuality
No one wants to be “ skinny”- a word that implies being unhealthy and one I loathed being called as a kid. I was and am SLIM. There is a big difference.
100 %
Amazing how little these women value their lives! Even after her friend died this woman still went in the next week to have the same unnecessary surgery. So senseless! Families devastated for vanity!
Vanity is what bothers our generation today in the end our flesh will be buried
Very ruthless & sad.
anything for the perfet body except for hitting the gym
.
Forget the refund. I had a bbl booked, paid for, flights booked suitcases packed and I CANCELLED and i took the loss as a blessing because i still had my life. Please think it through Queens and stay safe ❤
A valuable lesson
I'm so glad you decided your life was more valuable, but as much as I watch these horror stories I still in the back of my mind think "I wish I could be beautiful". The way media can mess with your mind is wild
wow! happy for u , sorry u lost money, why did u cancel love??
Why cancel?
I’m glad you followed your heart and your mind first.
There is so much to unpack here. This woman went to a funeral of her friend and then a week later went in for the same surgery 😮 You hear about the side effects of social media and the damage it causes to children, but its interesting to see the influence it has on ADULTS. Comparison is the thief of joy.
Amen
Until we extend this critique beyond the current tech fads, to our actual societal problems, ain't shit gonna be solved.
So did she survive or die too?
That shocked me, to have the same surgery that just killed your friend - the social pressure must be huge. It breaks my heart what people find important 😢
The last sentence of your post is powerful
I am 46, which mesns I grew up with the beauty standards of: The Supermodel area, Kate Moss and the Heroin chic, the so calles Healthy Models like Elle McPherson, Heidi Klum and Giselle. Then came Kadashians. If I would operate my body every time there was a new beauty standard, just imagine! LOVE YOURSELF. Not the Instagram filter.
Same.
I'm 34 and also know such models - and I think they are top, as well as the great starlets like Grace Kelly, Kim Novak, Lauren Bacall, Ingrid Bergman, Marilyn Monroe, Rita Heyworth yadda yadda
So true. Beauty standards always change.
The real trick is you aren't supposed to operate...you're supposed to fade into the background after 25 (so old! /s) and let some other young naive person into the limelight...
These women didn’t know that these influencers don’t really look like the pictures they post. It’s heavy editing and everything
As an American who resides in Germany, I can tell you that America’s emphasis on appearance is at the core of this problem. Fake is the new norm in America and no one seems to value being natural and real. As long as people, women in particular, can look a certain way, they are willing to literally risk it all. Yes, being satisfied with your appearance is important, but I will remind you that anyone who defines himself by looks is going to have a hard time in life because looks are temporary; your character is permanent.
I'm an American, I'm some one & I value in being natural.
Can't wait until this fad fades away.
Italy is the same way. They are becoming image obsessed over there and it’s not too far from Germany.
@@italianlessonsnyc1176 I’ve been there several times and I agree with you. It’s not nearly as bad as America, but it is absolutely getting worse.
@@italianlessonsnyc1176 in italy they are obsessed about SKINNY FIGURE, BBL, Breast implants no one care here just be skinny and u r beautiful, it is toxic too...
“Those doctors are a disgrace to medicine” I felt that in my bones when he said that. So sad what happened to these women.
So right!
Me too!
And they all looked good. They looked better before their surgeries than after.
I did too.
.
My mom’s surgeon , in Brasil , told her (many years ago )he won’t do bbl or but implants, cause the risk of rejection was too high. So it was always a known fact , that it has a high risk .
Yea our body always pushes out foreign objects.. like body piercing
The one major part they don’t tell these patients is that it can take a minimum of 6 months to even see the final changes from the surgery. They think they’re going to “walk out looking like an hour glass”. They have no clue the recovery time involved.
Exactly, And still need to maintain it even after it heals and finalized. SMH You still have to eat right and work out to maintain its existence and form to balance the rest of the body unfortunately lot of women don't understand this and it need to be said more...
The fact that Dr. Alvarez caused a patients death and then turned around and sued, lobbied against an emergency rule that would make the procedure safer for his patients is disgusting. That shows a lot about his character and ethics as a physician. They have the nerve to call themselves “surgeons for safety”, what a joke. SMH
What was that
every evil lobbying group in the country has a name that sounds generic and soft like that.
Go to the gym, exercise, and eat healthy. The human body is not to be treated like a 4-door sedan going to an auto body shop.
@Obi Amajoyi Sr., MD the gym can't change certain things. Stop with that crap 🙄
@@ObiAmajoyiSrMD I mean sure, but Doctors should also in theory care about patient theory. Not be greedy scum
It's not just bbls I had a friend who was denied a breast augmentation in Washington DC because of irregular heartbeat beat. She went to Miami and found one of these quacks to perform the surgery. She's been in a vegetable state for the last 15 years. So much pressure on women to look a certain way. We just gotta learn to love ourselves how we are.
Wow, sorry!
So sorry to hear about the loss of your friend.
Jeez.... this is sad. I am so sorry this happened to you, to miss your friend now.
That doctor in DC did so well that he/she denied her that surgery due to medical reasons. That is what a real and sencere doctor should always do.
Your friend has to live in a vegetable state for the rest of her life due to her choosing to still have a cosmetic surgery despite a qualified doctor told her not to. It truly is a sad thing that could have been prevented. And the doctor in Miami should get put in jail. He/she should have known better.
There is so much pressure on women... You're right 😢 ... Sometimes, hanging around the wrong people can lead you to this sort of garbage. Sort of like when you hang around bad people who are into drugs. More than likely, they'll pull you down with them if you're not strong enough..
Prayers
Omg this breaks my heart. I hate social media!
Just because you are loser don't makes everyone lame girl
💯 Social media, reality TV and celebrity worship are the downfall of humanity.
Crazy part is celebs are now undoing their bbls
KARDASHIANS
When I was a teenager I was often told by my relatives that I had an ugly nose and small breast. When I got older I did rhinoplasty and breast augmentation. Now that it’s fixed my mom told me if I were 10 centimeters taller I would look better. I was shocked to hear that. For some people you will never be good enough. I distant myself from my relatives and got a psychologist to fix my trauma and to love myself the way I am.
I would suggest to work with psychologist before doing any procedure to make others happy and to look according to stereotypes. It’s important yo learn to love yourself first and work with your insecurities.
such a good point! better to spend that money on therapy first...
You don't need a new body, you need new relatives!
do it if you feel you need to do it and especially not for others. The therapy option is a great idea
So glad u luv yourself now 💓😍
Call your mom out , then step away for awhile ...she is reflecting dislike of something she feels of herself...As a mom , I dont understand this. But I to have experienced it with my family and That has kept me more and more separated from them. You are beautiful just the way god made you❤
When everyone in your friend group got BBL, the conclusion shouldn't be "i should get a bbl" but rather "i should change my friend group". I'm in my twenties and as im growing older, i just want to be mentally and physically healthy nothing else matters in this short life.
Peel pressure is real change your friends
💯💯💯
As long as they're not pressuring you & supporting what you want to do with your body I don't understand why you would change your friend group because they got bbl's lol.
I have a friend who lives in Miami and all she thinks and talks is about physical beauty. I am done with her being so shallow
Yeah peer pressure can be rough
My best friend got CATFISHED at a clinic in Miami!! She scheduled a BBL with one surgeon, but the day of the surgery, another surgeon she never met came in. She thankfully said no, she wanted the surgeon she scheduled with because she had great reviews. They tried to pressure her, but she stayed strong. They tried to say she was wrong, but she had messages to prove who she scheduled with. She got her surgery with the surgeon she had picked, and after they wheeled her out and left her outside to wait for her mom to pick her up. Worst almost nonexistent aftercare I have ever heard of.
Florida’s medical board should also be held accountable for allowing these surgery centers to operate without proper oversight.
Florida's current 2023 government is so busy trying to outlaw true American history that they have no time to look out for true American healthcare.
need to also hold the adults who chose to get the procedure be held accountable for their decisions, want to get a good body? exercise or diet are always on the table
The Florida medical board is being paid to look the other way.. It's no medical regulation basically..
Blaming the medical board is as stupid as blaming the dmv for car accidents and drunk drivers.
The people to hold accountable are the ones waiting in line for a purely elective procedure for vanity purposes, treating their bodies like 4-door sedans at the body shop or mechanic trying to get a tune up. Only in america- people do the stupidest things and blame everyone else but themselves.
They are dying due to a risk inherent to the procedure. Doesn’t matter if it’s done at 8am or 2am, that’s not contributing to the morbidity or mortality.
Someone should give DeSantis a BBL. Maybe it will give him a personality.
What’s a perfect body? You get something done and you will find something else wrong. It never ends!
you're 100% right, people need to get their mind right before trying to change themselves physically, I met a women that when she took her clothes off she had sooo many surgery scars her body looked good, but mentally she was still the overweight girl that lacked confidence and was self conscious of her appearance and always looking for approval from men that she dressed so inappropriately in public it was embarrassing and I could no longer deal with her insecurities of not being born looking like an instagram model
@@brunofalcon4645 I’m sorry you went threw that, yeah I could imagine how hard it was walking on glass when It comes to her,
People need to thank God if they have a healthy body ... if you are in good health you have everything ... vanity and insecurity are what drives these women to go under the knife

@@Juliettemnm69 fifteen years ago the house above my house was sold and for the whole summer workers where in it renovating it. The new owner came every day to monitor the work being done and he was the most handsome man I had ever set eyes on and he was super friendly and a real decent guy. He said he'd be moving in at the end of the summer with his wife and son who were spending the summer at a beach house ... so for three months I imagined his wife to be some kind of super model ... The day arrived and when I saw her she was nothing like I had imagined. At first glance she was short, fat and ugly I am ashamed to say that is how I saw her. I was walking out the building with my dog and she held the door open for me with the most beautiful smile and her eyes were lit up as she said in the kindest voice imaginable 'what a beautiful dog. Do you mind if I pat him. In an instance I saw a beautiful woman in front of me. Her inner beauty shone right through and her husband often says he is a lucky man to have found a woman like her. The husband is an intelligent man that went for inner beauty. That day she held the door open for me changed me forever. Never to judge a person by the way they look. When I am out in the garden I only hear kind words coming from the house above me when they are out on their terrace. HE HAS NOTHING BUT RESPECT FOR HER AND SHE FOR HIM.

i have terrible hip dips and still get teased for my smaller backside even in my 20's. I was thinking of getting these types of surgeries. But I think I will stick to working on my self esteem instead...
Look up dr Alex Earle in Miami expensive but 99% safe
I was unhappy with my body. I was considered obese and had a flat butt. but at 37 I joined a gym and got a personal trainer. I also got a certification in holistic nutrition. Now at 47 I got an hourglass shape. I built my body over time and I’m proud of it. I still have a lil pouch with stretch marks and with lower body fat my boobs are saggy but who cares! No one’s perfect but to get plastic surgery or a cosmetic procedure is a no for me. There’s so much that can go wrong! I just hate that there’s so much pressure to look a certain way and I’m so glad I am strong willed and won’t even get Botox! I just want to age gracefully and in peace!
Your lifestyle matters. Diet, exercise, sleep, no alcohol, no smoking, family, friends, mental and spiritual health all matter!
Love this. My mom’s a nutritionist as well. I thank her always for her health tips
Love that! I try and count my calories, stay active, wear sunscreen and stay out of the sun, and do small procedures regularly (like botox and chemical peels) so I don’t need to do any crazy drastic plastic surgeries later. It’s definitely easier to prevent than fix when it comes to aesthetics.
This is the key! You can't be perfect, but you can improve your health and life by taking care of your body ❤
It's that simple but 90% of scamerican citizens are narcissistic and lazy
I have in recent years dedicated more of my time and energy to better health, nutrition and exercise. I agree with you 💯
All my friends have had BBL done too. They all try to get me to do it too. The risks scares me and my mom has always told me since I was a little girl to embrace and love what God has given me.
Listen to your mom! Its not worth it and its just a trend body anyways, you properly would not want to look like that in 15 years. You have found this video for a reason.
Don't ever forget that girrrl love you ❤️
But the worst thing is they (almost) all look awful! Why would anyone want to have lumpy, asymmetric, fat ass? It's one thing to have nice, round firm ass you get from exercising, but BBL gets you ugly looking ass most of us want to get rid of in the first place.
Seems to me like you'd better switch your circle of friends...
Don't do it. These women look ridiculous unfortunately they don't see it themselves. What respectable men is walking around with a woman looking like that. Look at the Kardashians they can't find a decent man if they life depended on it except Kourtney. beyonce is married to jailbird 53 year old thug craving beckies as she sang in her song. Nicki is marrier to a convicted P and murderer, Jenifer can't keep a man if her life depended on it the drunk she has know we soon enough walk out running back to his exwife that don't want him anymore and the list continues. The first women I don't know if she bleached her skin or whatever but she looks very ill and more like the walking dead a BBL is the least of her worries. These women only attract thugs. Your friends don't have good intentions let that sink in. I thank god everyday that I am size 6 UK, slim, tiny waste naturally who wants to look like a walking buffalo with a big fat fake behind.
Top notch men don't go for the builder bodies like that unless they pay them to use as human toilets etc.. I have never ever seen a top notch men with women like that. Most women are just normal looking and have natural bodies or naturally pretty with maybe some tweakes. Only losers, bums, cheaters, men that go from woman to woman and black guys are into that. Go to the gym if you have flat behind looks way better. The tattooted latina sorry her behind and her body looks disgusting these women are fooling themselves. They look horrible, Kim K and the Karcrasians look horrible at least they became rich by looking like clowns and now scrambeling for a decent white guy. By the way I am South American and from african decent in Europe. I would not have a BBL if my live depended on it. Yes, I was ridiculed for being slim etc...saying all kinds of nonsense by black men and women. I have the last laugh because I can pull any wealthy affluent man, living a good live. Because let's face it they are doing it to be sexy for men but what kind of men. You better get your mind right.....these women are not the women you want to hang around with. Listen to your mother she knows best. Do you see BBL women with good careers most? Either working a low paid job, stripper in the usa, onlyfans or in the entertainment industry or some sort, trying to be instamodels etc.., fake fitness coaches all the while working as escorts on the down low.

Selfhate is a billion dollar business. Crazy. It’s really disturbing.
That would make a great bumper sticker
Well said
Self-hate driven by not only the media, but those "well meaning" folks on the internet who literally can't stop themselves from commenting on other people's weight. As though they know best, as though they know that person's struggles. Then comes a young person who sees what is written and has it indelibly pressed upon them that "fat" is the worst thing you could be. They they see the commercials... then the cycle begins. Imagine people actually raising one another up instead of cutting one another down - just showing love and acceptance instead of vitriol. You are absolutely correct... it is incredibly disturbing and unbelievably insidious.
So true!
Of course it is - "they" create it.
I’m 48 and I have been fat since about age 5. All my life I have felt like I didn’t belong and I feel as if I’ve only half existed all these years. Watching this documentary makes me realize that it doesn’t matter what size you are, society will always tell you you’re not good enough. The girl that was unhappy with her size after 3 babies? I would love to be her size, but she was lied to by social media. Now her babies will never have her to grow up with.
Good for you girl! You made it to 48! Congratulations, no cap, thats a milestone, im turning 40 this year and I don’t take my birthdays for granted!
But she did multiple surgeries before she had those babies. The thing with these type of surgeries u av to go back to do maintenance

i wish we would teach our daughters that. they are beautiful big, small, short, tall, brown, pale, rich or poor.ladies you are beautiful
People have been wanting to be thin, curvy, pretty, muscly, or handsome long before social media. I remember growing up and noticing how there were girls who were much cuter than me, dressed nicer than me even in the 1st grade. In high school my mother and I would goto the store, I’d bring in 20 clothing items into the dresser and after 10 min put 20 items on the return rack. No one once called me ugly, my family and friends were complimentive. The problem here was she went to a discount place.

Thank you!!! The absolutely best statement someone has said!!! We can blame the industries greed, but 💯 need to talk about patients mental health!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve a question about bbl. What happens if they run and lose weight? How does that affect the fat that was placed on the butt? Does it just melt away? Does it melt away evenly or strangely? I’ve noticed that kim kardashian never gets photographed live, and she wears a towel to cover her butt in public
Thank you so much for having the audacity to say it.... A lot of those women needed exercise/a diet plan/weightloss plan more than a BBL.
"Accept yourself and enjoy your health" Very well said ❤

I agree. I Didn’t like how she did that interview. It was like i don’t care kinda thing . ( she knew the risks )
how do you even get addicted to something has no enjoyable aspect to it? lol. you look worse and are literally getting your body ripped apart and sewn back together... more like an addiction to masochism/self punishment than surgery
Its Mental ilness
Body dysmorphia is a possible reason.
To have these plastic surgery clinics on every block on the street and not offering a refund for backing out, or for a botched procedure is a red flag that this industry has no oversight from the state or local guidelines. When a patient dies there should be a law to give the families the money spent on the surgery back to help pay for funeral arrangements. To have the fat accidental injected in a major artery or blood vessel tells the fact that this surgery isn’t safe.
Sooo WHEN DID SMILEY TURN BLACK??
This documentary shows how important it is to love yourself and respect yourself. There was a time when I felt so insecure that I wanted to change everything about me, but then I also started to love me for me, though I felt ugly, I loved my ugly self and then sometimes I felt pretty and loved my pretty self. It’s extremely important to love and respect ourselves. Our body is a temple.

Well said 👏 💯
The gentleman who appeared early in the video is the grandfather of Danea Plasencia and a retired doctor. He and his daughter, Danea's mother, appeared on Dr Phil. It seems that Danea had mentioned to him that she was considering the BBL procedure and he told her that this was extremely dangerous and he strongly advised her not do it. As a result, both she and her mother hid from him that she was actually going through with the procedure. Next thing he knew, his granddaughter was dead. You just can't save some people from themselves.

who was your doctor?
I am a doctor and I think it is really important to educate women about the risks of this procedure. A big buttocks is just not worth the risk of dying. My own cousin flew to Colombia to have this procedure done. She paid half the price (compared to Germany) but during liposuction from the abdomen they perforated her colon. She will never be healthy again as far as we are informed. Very sad what beauty standards and social media do to people's minds.
Wow, I’m so sorry. Does she have to wear a colostomy bag now? Did the Colombian doctor take responsibility or offer a refund?
When I was a young teen a gentleman said to me ''' As soon as you start working, buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because you spend half your life in one and half in the other'''' I never forgot that advice. TBH, I considered it for a few weeks after learning that a relative had the surgery in Miami for less than $6K. I researched the facility and the surgeon and the other surgeons at the clinic. Then, I researched BBLs in general. All surgeries are risky, but BBL surgeries are highly risky. My cousin told me that she was planning to do it again because she didn't eat healthy nor exercised and ended up ruining what was already done before. I realized that I rather change my eating habits and exercise...I rather work hard for the body I wanted...I rather hire a personal trainer and get a gym membership and discipline myself. It's totally possible to achieve what you want for less than $6K. Being a surgical nurse for 30 years I’ve saw more plastic surgical procedures than I can count.
Make sure your Dr is board certified. Did you know that Breast augmentation only last 10 to 20 years. Please do your homework. If you need reconstructive surgery due to accident or deformity, You still need to investigate the Dr.
There are many web sites you can find about Drs. who have litigation against them.
Call a teaching hospital, they have plastic surgery clinics where there are residents that are learning procedures.
There is always a department professor there watching making sure everything is done correctly.
The students are general surgery Drs. that want to specialize in plastic and reconstructive surgery. The students have at least 4 years of training before they can pass the boards to be a plastic surgeon.
I hope this helps someone who is contemplating getting a procedure done.

Fantastic documentary. Please continue to disclose every surgeon by NAME that is basically running a BBL mill. Its just so heartbreaking to watch, and hear the complete utter heartbreak of the parents that lost their daughter and the kids who have no mother. One young lady stated, 'it's an addiction, ' the first step in anything is recognizing it, now seek help. Before your addiction carries you to the same grave your beloved friend rests in now.
Doesn’t matter if it’s a BBL mill or not. The onus falls on the endless number of women begging for this procedure. There will be women every day who have complications due to this procedure, and that will not change. The human body is not a four-door sedan going to the autobody shop. Women need to learn that.
Didn't nobody force those insecure bimbos to go get BBL 's. It's their own insecurities and the thing is they all come out looking the exact same then they start talking the same same mannerisms same touch the hair move the hands around when they are speaking in a video. It's like watching reruns with these women especially the African Americans.
I find it staggering how they spend all this money for these surgeries and then gain all the weight back. Nothing beats the gym to build strength, endurance, muscle and discipline. Who ever is reading this please think twice it’s not worth it. Social media has ruined how women view themselves 😢 this is sad.

When the daughter started crying it just broke my heart. These botched and failed procedures have far reaching consequences. Patients before profits!
Same. And her sister smiling and looking like she wanted to laugh is very concerning. Playing around with your life is no joke.
"Patients before profits" is such an empty useless phrase that has zero meaning. The real problem is on the demand side, people with perfectly good bodies try to fix their problem between their ears with unnecessary surgery. They are just as culpable.
What was the reason to get a BBL? to get attention? to get laid? to me it sounds like she put her own needs before her kids.
People forget the power we have as a consumer. medical clinics like his only exist because there is demand from people who will run to low prices without doing research. bbl recovery time is 2-3 months. you can achieve a lot in a gym/home work out in that time without putting your life in danger. but people run to the lazy surgical way cause it was cheap and had a payment plan
@Leigh . No Doubt! I absolutely agree with your perspective. While watching the piece, I was thinking of the time and money spent that could be used for something else.
